Since opening our doors in 2003, we have moved from St. Louis, to Marion, and now to our newest building in Murphysboro. We are excited to bring our community and locals the home cooked, grandma’s recipe, warm fuzzies kind of feeling when they taste our treats. Sarah Lavender Brashear, the owner of the company, wanted to give others the comfort of food and friendship. As a company, we strive to create new recipes and maintain old ones so we can appeal to everyone’s tastes!

I went in planning to purchase pre-decorated cookies for a preteen Christmas party, but got the Cookie Decorating Kit. (I had 6 girls, so I did purchase additional icing, decorations)

I was finally able to make it over here for the first time today. Great menu options, very calm and relaxing atmosphere, delicious food and can we talk about the customer service please!!!! AMAZING both gentlemen were pleasant, knowledgeable, professional and observant. They were able to handle eat in customers, the drive thru as well as lobby pick up orders and it was so refreshing to see customer service done right like this. We will be back for sure.

We recently organized a 2 day conference at the Carbondale Civic Center and we asked One Hot Cookie to cater the event providing breakfast and lunch both days. They were very easy to work with via phone and email to determine budget and meal selections. Every staff member that came to setup each meal was helpful and friendly. The food was awesome and really impressed our attendees. We will certainly continue to reach out to them for future catering needs!

Their cookies, brownies, and cakes are DELICIOUS! They have delivery service and you can count on them to do a great job!!! My husband was out of town for his birthday serving the community with the military, so I decided to send him a surprise with them. They did an amazing job and they included a lot of cookies, brownies and a Cake I can’t believe they added that much for what I paid! Thank you!!! My husband was so happy and also brought some brownies home. Highly recommended!!!

LOCALLY OWNED BUSINESS AND ITS GOOD! I come from a family owned business and so I really try to use other locally owned business’. My mom came in with a cookie that was THICK AND SUPER MOIST. I was really impressed. Plus its a different way for you to surprise your sweetheart if you need to think outside the box!! Plus I am curious about the soups and sandwhiches now lol

Ruined my wedding and still charged me. we paid $4000 for them to cater our wedding, they were supposed to begin serving food “Serving” at 5, they didn’t even show up till 6:30. They managed to set up the food in about 15 mins but by that time over half the guest had left. They upcharged us from $2700 for 75 people to $4000 for 125 ppl by the time the cold food was served we had less then 75 ppl left. They offered $500 back that’s all. Worse once the food was served most of it was cold including the bread that was still freaking frozen. The workers who were there though were extremely polite and hard working trying to please everyone but hard to do when the company don’t bring the food.
I only recommend this company if you want to pay extra for sub par food, and have them show up 2 hours late
