Last year while camping at Jellystone, we stumbled upon a little hole in the wall spot tucked by the train tracks, Crawbilly’s on the Tracks. If you judged it by the outside, you might drive right past. But step inside and you’ll find two of the most genuine, down home, kindhearted souls you’ll ever meet.

And the food? Some of the biggest, best mudbugs we’ve had and crab legs that actually have flavor.

Last year we ate there twice during the week we camped. This year, we drove two hours just to see them again. When they found out how far we’d come, he sent us home with a “travel pack” for the road. Just because. That’s the kind of people they are.

Every time we go, it feels like visiting grandparents, you leave with a full belly and an even fuller heart. Some places feed you. Some places bless you. This one does both.

Everything about this Place is CRaweSome! Billy, his wife, the food and the Service deserve a 15 out of 10. Redfish was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Pasta was perfect. Even the green beans were fantastic. Wife got the crawfish pistollets, they were also fantastic. Fried green tomatoes were thin sliced and crispy and wonderful. Grilled shrimp, perfectly cooked. Everything was seasoned and done right. Billy even broke out the saw and bow and played a few songs for a couples anniversary and her birthday. This place should have a line down the street, but we had no wait. Food is cooked to order. CrawBillys should be on everyones radar. ABSOLUTELY CRAWTASTIC! So happy we found this GEM

We found this place by accident. When I say a hole in the wall, I mean it. But the owners are awesome. And my boiled shrimp was yummy. My hubby had the steak and I tried it, very juicy and flavorful. The fried Oreos will make you stab someone for them.
We will definitely be back. The onion rings were seasoned just right. Hard to find kind owners that care about their customers and these people were so kind!!

Y’all won’t believe the gem we stumbled upon at CrawBillys in Pelahatchie, Mississippi! This place ain’t fancy, tucked away by them train tracks, but let me tell you, it’s a real down-home treasure. We rolled in with our whole passel of six kinfolk, sweat pouring in that 102-degree Mississippi heat. But William, or Billy as folks call him, came to our rescue. Showed us spots inside and out where we could dig into some good vittles. Billy’s a fine fella, treating the young’uns to snow cones to beat the heat. Now let me get to the grub – that Shrimp Po’Boy, Pistolettes, and Wholey Cow, they danced a jig on our taste buds, but reckon it’s that in-house sweet tea that takes the cake. And dessert? Fried Oreos, and hold your horses, a test run of fried Nutter Butters. When the sun set and the last folks moseyed on, Billy and his missus pulled up a chair, spinning tales of their journey over a friendly chat. Mind you, they’re cash or check folks, maybe even CashApp, but I’ll tell ya, it’s worth rustlin’ up those greenbacks. CrawBillys ain’t just a meal, it’s a slice of charm served up by the finest folks around!

Tucked away like a hidden gem, this restaurant offers an unforgettable dining experience that hits all the right notes. From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made us feel instantly welcome. The food was nothing short of phenomenal—bursting with flavor and clearly crafted with care, especially the redfish, which was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. Every dish that came to the table left us with full bellies and big smiles. One of the most memorable parts of the night was meeting the owners, who are not only incredibly kind and genuine but also deeply passionate about the food they serve. They took the time to ask for feedback and truly listened, which speaks volumes about their commitment to quality and hospitality. It’s rare to find a place with such heart—this spot is a true treasure, and I already can’t wait to come back.

The best food and impeccable service. As out of towners, we were skeptical, but this is why you should never judge a book by its cover. We were headed back from our vacation and this food was better than anything we had on our trip. We had young kids and they were able to enjoy running around and even had snow cones. The town is friendly and welcoming, the owners of the restaurant are just the nicest people, the shrimp was some of the best I’ve had, and crawfish billy even played the happy birthday song on a saw. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely be making a stop. Just small town kindness and welcomes goes a long way. such a refreshing experience.

Let me start with what a great whole in the wall or should I say whole by the train tracks. Yes a train when by. only one man working he took our order and let us know there was a fire out back. We walked out back to find a nice little fire and some tables under a large tree. He brought out some fried green tomatoes pickles and onion. On the house. Thank you. And then food started to come out. Hamburger great. Cheese sticks nice and hot. Some of the best serves we have ever had. I hope to make it back here some time. Thank you sir.
