Absolutely loved the food here. Service was good and very personable. Was a pleasant change compared to other places in the area. Our food was outstanding as were our drinks. The green sauce on this burrito has some nice heat. I hope folks support this place. I hate to see them close. For once a good restaurant with very reasonable prices. These days that’s hard to find.

First time here since they opened. The decor is awesome, very clean and well thought out. We sat at the bar which was nice. The staff was amazing. The salsa is one of the best we’ve had!!! We had the birria spring rolls to start, quesabirria meal, and I got a birria pizza. All of the food was hot, perfectly cooked and the star by far was the consume that comes with these dishes. All fresh ingredients perfectly seasoned. This was my birthday lunch but the bartender didn’t know that. He gave us a free cantorito, and a shot as well as I had two dos xx. The price was great service was wonderful and the food was perfect. It’s a pleasant surprise to have a great place like this pop up in North Charleston. Highly recommend!!!!

Such a great little place with awesome food and a great atmosphere! The people who work here are great at checking in and have good suggestions when you arent sure what to eat, and are friendly through and through. We have been a good few times now and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in some good food and good margaritas, especially with there happy hour from 4-8. The place is also great for parties, with a special guest coming out for certain drink orders or birthdays.

First time visiting. This is definitely a hidden gem! It’s tucked back behind the dollar tree, has lots of parking and outdoor seating. Family of five, we had fajitas, birria ramen (picture) tacos birria, birria wontons, and toro sampler (Picture) I had the classic margarita and the cucumber jalapeno margarita (picture), both were really good! My son enjoyed his horchata. Our server Melisa was great, very attentive and sweet. Everything we tried was delicious, we will definitely be back!

Tried Toro Birria and had a really good experience. We came in around 7 PM and it was very slow, which I honestly liked. We were seated immediately. The restaurant was clean, the music was low, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxed. The staff was very kind and checked on us multiple times.
They offer 2-for-1 margaritas daily from 4 PM to 8 PM. The deal is buy two margaritas (any size) and get one small margarita free (any flavor). I had a frozen mango margarita and it was smooth, not too strong, and great for someone who doesn’t like tasting alcohol. It came with a lime slice on the rim and a small flower.
For food, I ordered the birria empanadas with rice and beans for around $12. Everything was fresh. The empanadas were crispy, never soggy, and the birria was smooth and flavorful. It came with consomé and a tomatillo sauce, which paired really well. The rice wasn’t mushy and the beans were good.
The food menu wasn’t overwhelming but still had plenty of options, especially birria items like tacos, quesabirria, tortas, birria wontons, and chicharrones mexicanos. My mom ordered a steak bowl and enjoyed it, though we both felt the food could’ve used a little salt and pepper.
Overall, good food, good drinks, kind service, and a relaxed atmosphere. I would definitely go back.

Food and service was fantastic! Was pleasantly surprised at the size of the quesadilla and the prices were actually affordable. The drinks were good too, hoping to come back for happy hour! My new favorite Mexican restaurant, right behind dollar tree on Ashley phosphate near Frankie’s.
