I ordered a chicken strip salad; when it was delivered to me it was very small. Smaller than a side salad at any other place I have eaten at. I asked if this is the side salad. She said no. I asked if this was the $6.49 salad. She said yes. Most expensive salad I ever had. It’s hard to see but that is a dessert plate on top of a dinner plate. It is not even heaped and only 1chicken strip.

My team and I was posted to ND for a few months for work. Over the course of our stay in ND, we found Cool Stuff Drive Inn not far from our job site. We loved going to Cool Stuff. This restaurant is the epitome of excellent customer service. They made us feel welcomed and we looked forward to going everyday.
The food is pretty good and affordable as well. It has such a homey vibe so it was the perfect place to wind down after a long morning. We aren’t going to miss the cold days in ND but we’ll definitely visit again if we go back. Keep up the great work guys!!!

The food is good. The building looks like a dive but it is clean inside and a pleasing atmosphere. Diner tables and chairs. Menu is designed for the locals. French fries are home made and very good.

We love this eatery. Great place to visit when in Northwood for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Down home, casual style. In the summer and since it is across the street from the park, it’s the perfect place to pick up a burger and some ice cream.

Great hard serve and soft serve, cheap, and ice cold on a hot day. Waffle cone was around $3 and is more than a pint of ice cream. Softball on top of a big cone, my son and I could finish them!
