Brought a 70 year old male client of mine to Hibachi Guys to order his lunch. He ordered the shrimp lo mein. When we opened his meal there was a box of spaghetti noodles with huge chunks of cabbage and barely any shrimp in it. He was very underwhelmed and disappointment was on his face. Had we not driven out of town before he got to open his box we would have returned it. $12 for a plate of unseasoned spaghetti is a waste. He ate it this time, we will second guess on the next trip to City Market.

I’ve been here a few times over the last couple years now because I love hibachi and don’t like to judge a place off one bad experience. Unfortunately I keep having a bad experiences.
The lady and gentleman that run it don’t seem to really care about their customers at all and don’t hide that they feel it is a bother to serve. They do not use gloves and I have witnessed them touching objects that have germs like their phone and then barehanding food like noodles without washing in between.
As for the food itself it’s lack in quality is not reflected in the price. Their lo mein is literally just bland speghetti and a couple peices of dry chicken in a giant takeout box. My bf was not impressed with general tso’s chicken. It lacked in flavor and was pretty dry as well.
Overall I would recommend going to either the nearby ichiban or hibachi express instead or any of the other lovely restaurants surrounding instead of wasting your money here.
Ps: I see a lot of positive reviews referencing other restraunts the one I am referring to is downtown in center in the square.

Placed an order for a friend and myself on 1-30-24. My food was good, but my friend got the Spicy Chicken Lo-Mein.
I am not sure if the chef made a mistake, or just hated his boss/job but I am pretty sure it clocked in at least around 1.6 million scoville.
My friend took three bites and nearly died.
Myself, I am used to eating very hot stuff so I had to finish it.

On a side note, that sinus infection I think I was coming down with, it cleared that up instantly.

A good food experience a little bit of a wait but it was restaurant week. The owners are very friendly and the food is hot. Definitely recommend stopping by them.

I was not satisfied. I got the hibachi roll which was chopped cabbage in an egg roll, I got the yum yum slaw, Philly rolls and crab Rangoon. Everything was so greasy… and the only thing I did enjoy was the crab Rangoon.

The most bland fried rice iv ever had and iv had better frozen dumplings. Don’t waste your time or money here when we have better restaurants like wasabi’s or wok and roll.

The portions are HUGE. Service was great! They are very accommodating and attentive. The food is DELICIOUS! The orange, general tsos, and honey chicken do look the same but they taste different. It is REAL FRIED RICE! Not Uncle Ben’s that they they tossed around after putting in the microwave first! Only thing missing is the bean sprouts. Will absolutely be back. I do wish they had outside seating available.

We stopped over during the art festival and dang it was so good. It’s inside the Market building. My daughter said the orange chicken was so much better than Panda Express lol! The owners were amazing and take pride in what they do. Will definitely be coming back!!!!
