My daughter, who has very strong opinions on tonkotsu broth said this was the best she’s had to date. There is no higher praise.
We ate at the joint also got the beef ribs ramen (which I regret not ordering for myself), the black garlic ramen, filet and shrimp hamachi, seafood ramen, shoyu ramen, and the charsu bun.
Honestly, the charsu bun for me was the best of the lot. The sauce is the star of the show and shines so bright. Super tender, super flavorful. Warning: it uses the sandwich style bun, not the enclosed dumpling style. So it’s like an amazing sandwich.
5 stars. Don’t sleep on this place.
We ordered two plates of steaks and shrimps. They came with mushroom soup, salad, house ginger and carrots dressing.
The steaks were tender and the portions were large. The shrimps were 6 large and juicy pieces. The yum yum sauce was delicious.
The restaurant is located in a shopping center off of Kendall Drive with Plenty of free parking spaces.
The restaurant was clean and cozy. The decor was simple but well balanced. The staff were friendly and polite.
We enjoyed the food extremely and we plan to return with the rest of our large family. I highly recommend it to family and friends.
The ramen was good but I wouldn’t recommend the chicken chashu, it looked and had the texture of deli chicken, so get it if you’re into that. The beef ribs were the absolute best with the meat seasoned near perfectly and cooked well, with the meat falling off the bone. The noodles were a tiny bit stale and the broth wasn’t very rich or incredibly flavorful but still somehow tasted good. The ramen included corn, seaweed, 1/2 an egg and bamboo sprouts. The egg was deliciously jammy and the corn was just okay, it tasted like it was added from a can to the broth rather than cooked and softened in the broth. Seaweed was a nice, fresh addition to the soup and I liked it. I wish there were more seaweed and just a bit more flavor in the broth itself.
For appetizers, we ordered the spicy Korean fried chicken buns – the house sauce was creamy snd spicy there was kimchi in the buns and it was so flavorful and spicy. The chicken was delightfully fried with a bit of crunch, and the buns were soft and fluffy. These were a 10/10.
We also ordered the gyozas and they were nicely crisp with a good flavor. The sauce was a great addition.
Would 100% go back for the appetizers – not so much the ramen.
