An Enjoyable Bar with a little for everyone!
My boyfriend took me here for the first time Wednesday. The only floor serving was the main floor, but you can take your drink to the cozy lounge “speakeasy” basement.
There’s eclectic antique furniture and artwork on the walls, as well as some of the exposed original brick, which adds to the historic feel of the 1908.
Martinis were $5 on Wednesday, I tried the signature 1908 martini and couldn’t taste the bitters much; but later I asked Melissa and McKenzie to try and make my favorite cocktail, and they did excellently.
There’s a new style jukebox in the corner, a suit of armor above the bar, plenty of couches, and even outdoor patio space.
Really a pleasant experience.

Got the BBQ smash burger and was so happy with my order. There was plenty of fries and then the flavor was amazing! Staff was attentive and friendly. I’ll be back again and again! As another small business owner I was so happy to support local!

I don’t typically do google reviews but I had to for this spot. I am visiting family and my brother and law and I were looking for a place to unwind and have a couple drinks. And man was this the best spot for it. We have me the friendliest people at this bar. The bartenders Melissa and Ashely have been fantastic, drinks on point (Ashley makes a great old fashion), always a smile on their faces, and polite. Conner the cook makes an out of this world Jalapeño Smash Burger and the oysters were surprisingly good and huge. I rate this spot a solid 9.5/10, only reason it’s not a 10/10 is because one of the bartenders we had was pretty unfriendly and her drinks were bad (I literally had Ashely dump my drink) which Ashely made right. Really great spot otherwise folks.

I’ve been here a few times and always have had a great experience. Our most recent visit was last Wednesday, and we had the opportunity to try the oysters, and red fish ceviche that came with guac and salsa. It definetly hit the spot. Looking forward to seeing what they add to the menu.

This past week we had our work Christmas party at the Sports bar at 1908! The atmosphere was fun and festive! We had about 40 people in attendance and our bartender Ashley did an amazing job keeping everyone satisfied with drinks and food! No one was ever waiting for a drink and Ashley served us with a constant smile on her face! Highly recommend the 1908 for a party and ask for Ashley!

We didn’t eat here. We looked at the good reviews and we glanced at the menu while traveling, and we were excited to try it. We walked in, the bartender great us immediately, and asked us if we wanted to order. I replied that we hadn’t been here, yet and just needed to review the menu. She replied, so you don’t want a beer or anything. I said yes we do, but we do not know what you have. She walked off, and didn’t come back. Also, tables are bistro size. Im not sure how even two people could fit a meal on them. We quietly left and walked down to 1916. Go there.

I don’t know why somebody would say that the bartenders didn’t help them maybe they misheard them.. all the bartenders at the 1908 are super helpful and friendly. The Aumont does not have nearly the same vibe as the 1908… Go find out for yourself the 1908 is a great bar with good food and great people and the top notch vibe..frfr

Allison has been the FIRST bar tender at this bar that has served me a proper Old Fashioned. I wish I was lying… last time I was here the girls in the main bar didn’t know how and had to look it up. Not only the old fashioned but aslo didn’t know how to make a michalada or a Bloody Mary. I want a locker so bad a t this place but truthfully the only thing holding me back is the lack of proper bar tenders. I pray Allison sticks around.

This is a place to go on date night, a place to go if you need a date night, or a place to go with your family and friends to relax and enjoy with a variety of atmospheres to enjoy. The main bar has a variety of delicious drinks you forgot about or know you need to enjoy. They have a speak easy that second to none. And you will know about it when you come and know! There is a beautiful outside patio bar and they have a sports bar upstairs that is incredible! You must come out and get the experience of THE 1908. The food is delicious, the service is outstanding. And i must say again. THE FOOD IS DE-LISH. Bring yourself and your friends and your family, to a great restaurant. Come and get a great experience you will not forget.!!
