Terrible owners and a horrendous coffee spot. I walked in one morning and left when they didn’t have the item I was looking for. The man followed me outside and said I stole something. I told him he’s a racist and he should be ashamed of himself.

The man in the photo rudely refused to serve me after requesting to purchase a Lottery Number!! He said I had to give him a second right after he just got finish serving another customer. I told him I was next but he instead yelled at me and took two other customers whom were of Indian descent like he was. He then informed me his Lottery machine was broken! The only problem with that was I saw him selling tickets to another customer right before I entered the store!! Thus, I truly believe he didn’t serve me because of the color of my skin and falsely stated the lottery machine wasn’t working so he didn’t have to serve him! This store will NEVER get my business and other people of Color shouldn’t patronize this store either!!!!
I will be calling the NJ Lottery Commission as well as the Better Business Bureau to express my concerns. This racist store owner needs to be trained on Racial Biases.

The good thing is that this place is just below the station. The bad news is my coffee was terrible. If an establishment that purports to call itself a “cafe” is incapable of making a good coffee, much less having the presence of mind to at least change the coffee every couple of hours, (which was the case with me, as my coffee tasted at least six hours old) then that shows the lack of consideration for the customers.

I was browsing when the proprietor, an older bearded man, began scolding me because I had not yet made a purchase. I had done absolutely nothing except quietly look at his wares. This man was rude and unhinged, and you would do well to avoid him.

Ceiling is always leaking, and workers always seem unhappy. Coffee is desperation coffee and overpriced at that. Walk directly across the street to the bodega for better, cheaper coffee, or to D’oh down the block for legit coffee.
