Extremely disappointing experience. We ordered dahi gol gappa and it was hideous…had no sev, no pomegranate, no filling…basically nothing that actually makes the dish what it’s supposed to be. It was just plain with dahi poured on top.
Zero presentation and zero taste.

We also ordered a burger, which was not good either—bland and poorly made.

We paid close to $30 for this order, and it was a total waste of money. Very poor quality and absolutely not worth the price. Would not recommend at all.

I had a wonderful experience at Tandoori Bites! The staff were warm and welcoming. We savored the delicious sizzling tandoori chicken legs, which came with a rich hot butter chicken sauce – a delightful surprise! The chicken biryani was also flavorful. Although the order took 30 minutes, it was worth the wait since they cooked the chicken fresh. Overall, the food quality was excellent. Highly recommended!”

The food taste was good. Butter garlic was too good. But none of the dish tasted as its name

For a Punjabi restaurant to not have Rajma or kadhi chawal on the menu dampened my excitement right away.

We ordered chicken 65, the chicken was fried with besan coating tossed in a sweet sour gravy, more like the Indo-Chinese dish you get back in India that had corn flour slurry. Nothing remotely authentic about it, can’t exactly say it worked.

Hubby’s beer didn’t arrive until after we finished the appetizers. So we passed on that.

Ordered chicken kali mirch and Punjabi dhaba dal for main course with rice and naan. The chicken Kali mirch was mostly boiled chicken breast pieces in a cream based very very sweet gravy (the kind that comes with malai kofta), with some pepper power sprinkled on top for garnish. It wasn’t spicy at all, and antithesis to the dish’s name, it was too sweet. Clearly they repurposed standard gravy they probably had and tried to pass it off as any dish ordered, didn’t matter which one!

The dhaba dal is actually the maa ki dal (kaali daal), it is not the usual yellow dal. I bet if we had ordered Dal Makhani from the menu instead, we would have got the same dish served.

Good things: rice and naan. Period. And the servers were kind.

None of the dishes had authentic taste. Funny enough, the gravies weren’t too bad to taste – we didn’t go back hungry. However I’m not sure if we’d be returning.

BTW, from the pics one would think that that have buffet and thali at the restaurant. It’s misleading – neither is true.

I’ve popped into Punjabi Bites a few times whenever the craving for Indian sweets hits, especially their amazing carrot dessert, Gajrela. They’d been out of it for over a week, and last night the sweet tooth kicked in again, so I gave them a call to see if they had any.

The lady on the phone put me on a brief hold, then came back and asked how much I was hoping to get. I said, “Just a small box,” and she told me to come on over.

When I got there, I was honestly surprised — the chef had made a fresh batch of Gajar Halwa just for me, in that small quantity. That’s some real service right there.

A huge thank-you to the team for being so considerate and going out of their way to make something special. Wishing you all the very best — I’ll definitely be back.

Stopped by Punjabi Bites on New Year’s Day and was blown away. The Noodle Burger is a must-try—truly fantastic and easily one of the best versions out there. Great service and great vibes. Highly recommend!

I stopped in here for chaat. The Tikki chaat was hearty and tasty. It was a bit different than any other version I have tried, but very comforting nonetheless. I wish it was a bit spicier, but they have six levels of spice, so it was my mistake not going higher than hot. The atmosphere is nice and the service was good. I also tried the bhalla papdi which was okay, but quite a bit sweeter than I expected. They have a lot of offerings, and I would definitely go back to try some other options. There is also a case of sweets in the front which is a nice touch.

Food was delicious. I liked the butter poutine, noodles burger, saag, makki roti. We went in the afternoon and it was nice and peaceful. Then we went there again at night but it was so packed and suffocating that i couldn’t sit there and packed my food and walked out. Maybe there needs to be more ventilation according to the size of the place

Hi…
A sincere concern, we really like to visit the store and food is really nice. So my zero stars goes to billing section as whenever we try to pay by card it doesn’t give any option for no tip… This should not be mandatory to give tip, this is a personal choice to give tip or not. Whenever we pay it gives different options for tip like 10%, 20% etc…
I am really disappointed about this…..
I want to raise this complaint directly to the owner of the store…… in this way we need to stop visiting the store in future, sorry to say this…. Please add option for “no tip” in your card machine….
Thanks i hope someone will read this message.
