I cannot begin to say how great Lee and Sherry are at what they do. I came in for the Kasoy and a Thai iced tea and the dish did not disappoint and is as authentic as you can get as far as I know. Both owners are extremely kind and attentive to customer needs and wants. As with anything, if you have questions ask them! This was my first visit to this small food cart and they really are a diamond in the rough. It’s cold and rainy so this was a fantastic option. The outdoor seating heaters don’t work but that’s unrelated to the type of service or quality of food provided. If you are looking for a flavorful, fulfilling, and warm experience please visit these two – it will not disappoint.

My boyfriend and I love this place! I was so excited to finally see Lao food near me instead of all the way in Portland. We’ve tried multiple Lao restaurants/food carts nationally and this ranks in our top 5! The food is extremely authentic and their kapoon is AMAZING! I also love the fact that they were able to take my personal requested order for Lao thum mak tua aka Asian long bean salad that’s not on the menu. Similar to papaya salad, just with long beans and my fave! It was sooooo good! Highly recommended and please consider putting it on the menu as I’ll have to keep bugging you guys to personally make it!!!

If I could give this more than 5 stars, I would. Who would have known that this little food truck was gonna serve me the best food I’ve ever had in my life! My only complaint is that they won’t move down to Grants Pass. If you are looking for some fresh amazing flavors, give them a try. You’ll never be the same. Now I’m gonna have to go all the way up north just to get my new favorite soup. Kudos to this gentleman and his beautiful wife! If I’m in the Beaverton area any time after March, I’ll come back! The food is always delicious and the portions are very generous for a great price. I can always get at least 2 meals out of all of their dishes, which is great because that means I get to eat their food for even longer each time I visit. All of their noodle soups are fresh and delicious with plenty of herbs and veggies available to add in. Their stir fried noodles (ex. pad thai) and meat dishes (ex. Larb, pad krapao) are always flavorful, and their chicken wings are out of this world! And it isn’t just their food that’s amazing, Lee and Sherry are always welcoming with a laugh and warm smile even on a rainy day.

If you haven’t had Lao food your missing out. I’m from Portland went to Eugene for a job on the way back found this spot. And it’s fire! The owners are super nice. There’s a eating area 3 that’s covered. And TVs if you’re trying to watch a game.

We drove all the way from Eugene to try this place. There’s not much Lao food outside of Portland soo when I found out there was a place in Salem, only 1 hour away, I had to go.
This place is the real deal if you want Authentic Thai/Lao food. From Kaffir Lime leaves to the Mats in the seating area. It’s like someone invited you over for dinner and made you home cooked food.
I got Khao Poon, which is my favorite Noodle Soup above Pho and Khao Piak, it’s Curry Chicken Noodle Soup. Soo flavorful and you know it’s made right when you get that subtle kick of spice.
My sisters got the Pad Kra Pao and they were blown away. I’ve had many of this dish but this is the best one soo far.
Definitely worth the drive and We’ll be back with more people. Also, Owners are very Down to Earth and Hardworking people. Support this small business, you’re not gonna come across a lot of food like this here in Oregon.

Absolutely amazed by this place, my only complaint is that I didn’t know about it sooner! Food is some of the most authentic you can get in the Salem area. Fresh, big portions, and bursting with complex flavors. Owners are incredibly thoughtful and their passion comes through in every dish. We ordered the papaya salad, kapoon, and pork pad krapao- can’t wait to go back to try more!
