I have enjoyed Shaffer House trought the years. Went in this morning to get a few doughnuts. The Raspberry Creame bar was OK, the filling was not throughout the bar, however. I also had a crumb cake doughnut. It was small and had a background taste of epoxy! Serious! Both doughnuts cost $2.50 each. They were not really worth the price for what you get.
More disappointed with Shaffer House. Probably will not go again. There are better quality doughnuts at other places.

Went there for the first time today, was excited for some yummy donuts. It didn’t look open, we went inside and it was dark and looked old and dingy. I ordered a simple apple fritter, super basic i thought. It was awful, dry and seemed a little burned. Tasted like day old at best. The grocery stores have much better donuts and a larger selection. I won’t be going back and do not recommend.

Had them make a Stitch cake for my birthday yesterday. First time having a custom cake made and definitely not disappointed! They did a really good job, cake is moist and absolutely delicious! They did a great job on the decorating too! Definitely would order from them again

My daughter’s birthday was this month and we wanted to “go big” for this one. I reached out to Shaffer’s via email and asked about the type of cake I was looking for. I sent photos and the gal I was in communication with was very helpful and said she could definitely do what I was wanting. It turned out BEAUTIFULLY and I couldn’t have been happier. I knew my daughter would be over the moon. The cost was reasonable and well-worth it! I know that elsewhere I’d have paid quite a bit more. When I went to pick up the cake, the gal at the counter was very helpful in getting the cake into my car. I’m returning for my son’s birthday in 5 months!
The cake itself was delicious and not dry. Everyone loved it!

Rolls are amazing, soft and yomi. I also had baked donut and that one had like a toasted flavor and tooo mcuh icing or sweet. They only have black coffe, no iced ir specialties.

They made my birthday cake for me and it was adorable and delicious! Not only did they do an amazing job, but they stayed late to make sure we got the cake before they closed for the weekend! Awesome people, would definitely recommend their business and will continue to go to them in the future 🙂

Doesn’t appear clean inside, and the shelves are half empty. Poor selection. Donuts tasted like they were day-olds, even on a Friday morning. Nor were they cheap: about $2 each for fritters! Local businesses have to do better then this.
