I am Vietnamese and I had a very disappointing experience with this place. First of all, the host/ cashier was rude to me when I tried to talk to him when I first came in. He also pushed me to pay with credit card even though I wanted to pay cash.
Getting to the food – I got bun bo hue, pho, and egg rolls – I am Vietnamese and I’ve gotten takeout from places countless times. You are ALWAYS supposed to separate the bean sprouts and mint and lime from the dish. Those are supposed to be optional for the customer. THIS PLACE COMBINED THE NOODLES WITH THE BEAN SPROUTS AND LIME!!! You are not supposed to do that! You are always supposed to package them separately.
On top of that, the pho broth lacked a lot of depth of flavor. Also, pho is supposed to come with tripe, eye of round, beef ball, which this pho had none of.
Bun bo hue is supposed to be spicy and have pig blood, which this one didn’t. It was also not flavorful and was just lacking.
The egg rolls also did not taste right and the fish sauce was off.
I’m very disappointed with my experience here. This is not an authentic Vietnamese restaurant in Long Island.

I have always wished there were truly delicious pho restaurants here in Long Island, New York, as I’ve long been a fan of Vietnamese noodle soup. Over the years, a few places have opened, but each visit left me disappointed. Then, to my surprise, I recently discovered this hidden gem—and I couldn’t be more delighted.
In the past, I usually had to travel all the way to Flushing just to enjoy a satisfying bowl of pho. Now, I no longer need to make that trip. For anyone who loves pho, I can confidently say that one visit here will leave you with no regrets.

I frequent this place quite often, and I love their beef pho and their summer rolls. Though their summer rolls are quite expensive (2 for $10) they have a very good taste with a blend of beef, shrimp, noodles, and lettuce. Other reviewers have said that they hated the food here but I believe that this food is one of the best tasting from the Vietnamese cuisine that I have had. (I have been to over 10 others). It is an acquired taste and not all may like it but if you do this is the place to go. The pho here is large, with generous helping of beef. I recommend the extra large if you want the best price to size ratio (enough for two servings). Just make sure to push the meat down if you would like it fully cooked. The staff here is quick and very understanding of dietary restrictions. Joe is the owner of three of these restaurants (all called The Rolling Spring Roll) and I highly recommend talking to him as he has a lot to share. All in all this is a wonderful place (one of few) for those wishing to enjoy Vietnamese food on Long Island. Come see for yourself!

I always come here for a comforting bowl of Beef Pho, and they never disappoint! The service is excellent, fast, friendly, and attentive every time. They even have a delicious pudding for dessert that’s a must-try! It’s close to home and always hits the spot when I’m craving Pho. Highly recommend this place for great food, great people, and great service!

Vietnamese food must be just not good to my taste. I have tried it in a few restaurants (and I totally forgot that I disliked it then too) and everywhere I felt like it was cooked by ancient civilization when people just discovered cooking. Their food has no flavor! And summer rolls are raw. Uncooked Rise paper sheet with more rise noodles in it some shrimp and disgusting pork. These rolls were served cold… made me feel like the world is running out of decent food and I’m eating it because there is nothing better out there. Just not my cuisine at all!! A few ladies when leaving asked me how I liked my summer rolls because they found it ridiculous that they are served cold with no flavor in them . I was glad I wasn’t the only one who wouldn’t agree with the reviews. Those must be from Vietnamese people who got used to their cuisine but it’s a huge big fat NO for me. I gave this place a try because I wanted those crispy rise paper spring rolls you can find on internet. Their rolls was far from what I was looking for. Just eat soaked but uncoooked rise paper wrap with more rise noodles on it no flavor even though it had boiled shrimp, some disgusting pork meat and no veggies and you will have Vietnamese simmer rolls. Everything comes with sweet peanut butter sauce which is not my cup of it as well. The beef pho was also tasteless with okay beef but disgusting meatballs or brisket I don’t know what exactly it was. Their soup was too watery and flavoreless to me. I’m a foodie and usually can eat anything but Vietnamese cuisine is the only one so far which I couldn’t get a taste to.

Nice atmosphere, food was delicious and quick. Good portion size for the pho noodles and vegetable spring roll was delicious. Plenty of parking and space. Owner was super nice!

They have to improve on their pho not a fan. We decided that bahn mi is something we love but its a bit pricey… as other Vietnamese restaurants

Every dish, from the herb-filled spring rolls to the perfectly seasoned dumplings, exuded a homemade charm. The banh mi sandwich, with its savory fillings and tangy sauce in a crisp, homemade baguette, was a testament to the restaurant’s commitment to traditional, handcrafted cuisine.

I came in and ordered a pork bahn mi to go. The guy spent lots of time in the back and I could overheard him loudly telling staff that tonight was busy for some reason so I guess they were overwhelmed? Instead of getting the pork bahn mi i had to wait til I got gome to discover I was given the beef so I am now reviewing the beef bahn ki. Very dry and the veggies lacked a crunch factor that I was looking for along with a pronounced pickled flavor. I was looking foward fo the more traditional pork since it included the pate and ither ingredients but the beef could have been a nice surprise if the flavors were dialed in.
