Dined in on New Year’s Eve before a show at the Colonial theater. Jeff was great and got us out in time to get to our event. Our party of 6 loved our food—Caesar salads (the in house croutons are amazing), flank steak sandwiches perfectly cooked, crisp french fries, beet blue salad, and the burrata with a whole roasted garlic head and garlic chips. We’d definitely eat here again when in the area!

I recently dined at 101 Restaurant and Bar, and overall, the experience was just okay. The ambiance was pleasant, and the staff were friendly, but there were some issues with the food. I tried the fried green tomatoes, but they were served as red tomatoes instead, resulting in a dish that was watery and soggy, lacking the crispness and flavor that comes with green tomatoes. If they had run out of green tomatoes, or were going to make this change, I would have appreciated being let know, so I could decide whether or not I still wanted to order this dish or choose something else. Additionally, the salad was enjoyable, but it had too little dressing. Our server, who was very nice, promptly brought more upon request. However, the additional dressing appeared to be thinned out with milk or water, which diluted the flavor compared to the initial serving.

We’ve been to the 101 Restaurant and Bar for dinner twice in the past two months and the food there is absolutely amazing! Last night, I tried the 40 ounce ribeye and it was fantastic! Honestly, the best steak I have ever eaten!! My wife has gotten the pecan crusted catfish both times and that too has been superb! Even though we live in Southern New Hampshire, we will make the drive 2 1/2 hours to eat at this restaurant again and again. Whether in this area or not, please try the 101 Restaurant and Bar as you will not be disappointed!!

101 restaurant and bar is wonderful. Great food and drinks next to the swimming pool. Bartender was very friendly and helpful about suggesting dishes and promotional food deals. Split 40 oz ribeye steak meal with girlfriend and was extremely delicious.

I am staying at the Holiday Inn in Pittsfield and decided to get some dinner from 101 Restaurant and Bar. I’m glad I did because it was a great experience. They had live music too! The waitress was very attentive and the food was delicious. I ordered some wine and fish and chips and it was absolutely delicious!

The restaurant is hard to find it is inside the hotel on the second floor. There is no parking on site you must either use valet parking,or find a spot in the street or the parking garage down the road. The restaurant itself is not that big. The patio etc. is closed due to construction. Only appeared to be one waitress on site during our visit. Though she was very nice. Surprising the food was very tasteful and spices were a spot on! Portions seem to be of the average amount. we probably would not return due to the difficulty of parking in accessibility.

Visited on September 30, 2023, for dinner and drinks. I had the blackened pepper chicken penne for dinner, with an old fashioned made with Berkshire bourbon.
The pasta was well cooked with plenty of pecorino/parmigiana shredded on top. The sauce was watery but flavourful.
The old fashioned was uniquely made with local bourbon and sweetened naturally with cherry and orange for a twist.
Service was great, attentive and efficient.

I attended a wedding at the Holiday Inn a couple weeks ago and the food was done by 101. The chef, and I believe owner, John went above and beyond to accommodate my gluten restriction. Not only assuring me that my main course would be gluten free but he went out of his way and made one of the appetizers on gluten free toast just for me so I could enjoy it too. All the food was amazing and delicious, but even more importantly for me was the kindness and care John took in making sure my food was gluten free. Highly recommend, especially if you cannot have gluten. He understands.

Everything was great… but the salads. For a Caesar I got leaves off a stalk with 2 croutons and extremely little parmigiana. The squash salad was a small portion that looked like it was going to take me on a culinary adventure but did not. I understand the everyone experiments with the presentation but I’m honestly disappointed.
