This place is fantastic. Southern fresh food. All you can eat catfish buffet. It’s out of the way, friendly and armed lol (dude, it’s the south). The yams are delicious. The catfish is fresh and has 0 fish taste. For any city slicker , this is a must see. We visited in 2022. It’s also called “one mile catfish house”

Service is always fantastic. Ordering from the menu is the only way to go. The fish and fries on the buffet are always greasy and soggy. The fries you get when ordering are the same fries from the buffet so I order onion rings or some other side.

Strongly encouraged to eat buffet only to have a member of group to be told after returning for another piece of fish that it was NOT an all you can eat buffet. There are no signs saying this. They were being courteous for other patrons to get fish and was willing to go back after others were served. NEVER RETURNING OR RECOMMENDING!!!

While driving and just touring the state of Mississippi we drop in to Kaffay Mileoway in Durant. This restaurant had a great catfish buffet with great comfort food. Turnip greens and corn on the cob are featured. Nice country atmosphere!!

The food and the staff deserve 5 stars. My sister and I try to go to Durant at least 3 or 4 times a year. Our parents are buried there and when we go to the cemetery for a visit we stop in at Kaffay Mileoway to eat and visit with them. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very friendly staff and the food was well priced, tasted good, and was served in generous portions. The bathrooms and dining area could use a good scrubbing and would make a world of difference.
