Amazing food and a great overall experience at DLF Restaurant. The ambience is classy with an upscale feel, perfect for a relaxed dine-in. We tried Raju Garu royyala Vepudu, which was absolutely top-notch. The ghee roast pulav was rich and very flavorful, and the naans were soft and delicious. A special mention to the Nagu Kodi Pulusu—truly outstanding.
Overall, a wonderful dining experience. Loved the vibe, loved the food, and will definitely visit again!

This restaurant is so pretty! It was clean and the food was delicious. I ordered the veg samosas, paneer butter masala, and garlic naan to go.

The tamarind sauce with the samosas was delicious and wasn’t overly sweet like some places.

The paneer butter masala was super flavorful, warm, and comforting but was definitely on the spicy side compared to others I’ve had elsewhere. It also came with rice (love that you don’t have to buy it separately).

The garlic naan was also delicious. On the drive home it made my whole car smell absolutely amazing and I could wait to dig into it .

I’ll definitely be back and can’t wait to try other things on the menu.

Ambience was really good. Small place but they thoughtfully designed it. People were very welcoming and service was good. Menu looked well-curated and promising.

Unfortunately the food did not live upto the expectations set by ambience and service.
We ordered Mutton Marag , Gobi 65, Mutton ghee roast pulav, Palamuru paneer biryani and DLF special Tres leches.
Marag was really thick and creamy , it was more like a curry instead.
Gobi 65 was not like usual 65 which is sautéed in sauce. It was more like Gobi pakodi and taste lacked flavor.
Biryani and pulav were okay.
I had expectations on their special Tres Leches, but quite disappointed with how it tasted. It was not fresh and had very heavy flavor of dry rose.
There is so much room for improvement .

We tried the Butterfly Paneer, Mutton Marag, Amrold Green Chili Egg Pulav, and Tandoori Chicken — and everything was absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, and you could feel the spice lingering until the very last bite. This place offers great options for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians, making it perfect for everyone. It’s definitely a must-try spot for people in Dallas.

They really did good marketing that I will say, they achieved the reach they were expecting from instagram food bloggers and I fell for that
We tried the mutton marag, it should more thinner but it’s okay they made it creamy.
We tried gundamma palamuri chicken it was average too.
Then we ordered Tandoori fish and they literally grilled marinated fish fillets, see even if you don’t give an entire fish from tandoor also is fine, the least you could do for fish tandoor is using a full piece of fish, they used fish fillets and even the marination was also not that great.
I liked their mutton pulav and the disappointing thing for shrimp pulav is they deep fried shrimp and sautéed it green emarald whatever sauce and put it along pulav rice, PLEASE try cooking shrimp on tava or wok it will be better. You should take care of your pulavs because they are the only decent ones among the items that we tried
Don’t say we deep fry shrimp for faster service because we literally waited 40 mins for tandoor fillets we could have waited for tava or pan cooked prawns in pulav
For desserts we tried Indian fusion tresleches with maws I though the badam milk was curdled but when I tasted it I realized it was mawa so even this is average
Coconut Pannacotta they made that coconut pudding in god damn plastic bowl and flipped that it coconut bowls that’s clearly visible BUT for all the Instagram reels they have used the ones where the pudding was made in coconut bowls
They flipped that damn plastic bowl so hard on the bowl I even got a plastic chip also
Never going again thanks for the average food

This restaurant had a beautiful ambience and gave us a great fine-dining experience with family. We tried their Gundamma Gari Palamuru Kodi Vepudu, Chicken Keema Pulav, Goat Dum Biryani and the DLF Special Saffron Tres Leches. Everything tasted amazing and the quality was excellent. I’d definitely come back and try more items from the menu!

Came here for Valentine’s and honestly, the whole vibe was so beautiful. The decorations were done so nicely — hearts hanging from the ceiling, cute balloons, rose petals on the tables — it felt really special without being over the top.

We ordered the goat dum biryani and it was so good… perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and the goat was super tender. The strawberry tres leches was honestly my favorite — soft, fresh, and not too sweet. And the pom mocktail was refreshing and went really well with everything.

Definitely felt like a perfect Valentine’s dinner spot. Will be coming back again ❤️

I wandered into the restaurant after being drawn in by its attractive posh interiors, expecting nothing more than a light snack. To my surprise, my friends and I ended up indulging in a delightful spread of appetisers, mains, and dessert.

For starters, the Bird’s Nest and the Butterfly Chicken/Paneer were outstanding, surprisingly good, in fact. The Gundemma Chicken was another pleasant highlight. Special mention about the in house condiment.. We literally loved it so much that we asked for seconds. lol

Among the mains, the Ghee Roast Biriyani truly stood out and quickly became our favourite. My friends were equally impressed with the Jalapeño Paneer Pulao, a solid choice for vegetarians.

And then came the desserts.. OMG! The Tres Leches cake w/ Gulab Jamun(sweet dumpling) was wonderfully rich, and the coconut pudding with saffron was absolutely delicious. Both are must tries if you’re visiting the DLF location.

Service was good, attentive staff and the owners stopped by to take feedback and explained dishes. This is all now during soft launch, I’m looking forward to the grand opening, I’m sure it’s going to be a delight and foodies dream. Family’s and specially kids would love this place.

Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience that far exceeded expectations.

I came here recently on 12/23/25. This restaurant is pretty new hasn’t been open more than 2-3 weeks. I noticed when I came to get carryout at Chipotle and decided to give it a try.

Upon entry, the first thing I noticed was how high the A/C was. However, the decor was nice, and everything in the restaurant was new. My wife and I were greeted immediately. Service was good from the start. The waitress suggested we try the Hyderabadi Mutton Mirage. This soup was very delicious, it’s a small portion that comes with pain naan and about 3 pieces of mutton.

I ordered the tandoori chicken. When it finally came about 20 minutes later (the waitress did state it would take this long), unfortunately, I was disappointed with the flavor. It was bland compared to my precious tandoori chicken at various restaurants. However, the waitress noticed and allowed me to swap it out for another chicken dish. I got the curry chicken. This took another 20 minutes, but it was good. Do remember to let them know the spice level! I recommend the curry chicken!

My wife had the Goat Sukka special (think goat biryani). This was very spicy, but it was delicious. This is another dish I would recommend. We also got cheese Naan, however, it wasn’t as cheesy as I’m used to. Service was good and attentive throughout our dining experience. The food was good except for the tandoori chicken, but they did really well with the replacement dish, and my dining experience was saved! I can see myself coming back it’s in the neighborhood and the service is friendly.

Hey guys, there’s a new Desi Indian restaurant in town called Desi Local Food. The name truly matches the experience — after trying their food, I was impressed. I ordered the Chicken Lollipop, and it was extremely juicy with perfect flavor. They use baby chicken wings for the lollipop, which makes it very tender. All the best for chef Mohan & Team

You should definitely give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed — mark my words.
