Food tastes wonderful with good variety at fair prices! Staff is very friendly and welcoming, feels like a more intimate environment, very warm not cold at all. Bathroom is very clean! Service was great overall and they give a vibe of appreciation of your presence. Definitely a nice quiet spot to munch on some grub. I’ve not been disappointed so far and been a few times as a local. It’s one of my bf’s and I’s fav spots. I like the little sauce cups they give with some of the food. Idk what it’s called.

They were super friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. Helped us understand the menu since it was our first time. Took the food to our table and over all was such a great experience!! Food was so good!! Steak was juicy and tender and everything was packed with flavor!! 10/10 would recommend!! Will be coming back again soon!

This is my first time going to this place. Since I love sushi very much, my best friend recommended this spot. Never tried their food before. Until I got their hibachi salmon entree and the Vacaville roll. It’s actually really good and would recommend coming back here again. The lady was very nice of serving us and her kindness shows!

1st Time trying Koi Express Hibachi & Sushi
This review is only on their Sushi rolls.
Rolls are on the small side ordered a Rainbow, Tiger, American, spicy tuna, spicy crab, and salmon avocado. Pick up was ok only slightly behind on the order. Staff was friendly restaurant seemed clean. Really wanted to like them but, sadly it was sub par sushi. Presentation food looks great but, sadly it falls short. Do not order the spicy tuna awful we threw it out. In conclusion small portions, sub par in taste/quality/texture. Also Pricey compared to other better spots in town. Really hate leaving a bad review but, got burned by people hyping this place.. Won’t return much better offerings in town.

I had asked for a steak and shrimp combination plate with an appetizer of gyoza. When i received said order i found no gyoza but a plate of noodles not only that but they only gave me four shrimp repeat four shrimp… im absolutely disappointed as i’d had great experiences here before

Amazing restaurant, friendly workers, great food! I always order the same, hibachi chicken and shrimp and crab rangoon, some of the best hibachi and crab rangoons i have ever ate, the yum yum sauce makes everything perfect and the shrimp and crab rangoons are just amazing! Prices are good in my opinion too, my wife and i love ordering from here. This place ALSO does Military Discount!

The steak and shrimp combination was great. However, I ordered Dragon roll for take out and when we opened our order at home, it was a fried roll with just cream cheese filling. No eel, no crab meat, no avocado, just cream cheese. See photo for reference. It’s disappointing. There’s no such thing as a sushi roll with just cream cheese in it. It’s disappointing.

Steak and chicken plate was enough food for me. Steak was perfect. Chicken tasty,a little dry but not too bad. Sushi was crawfish and crab called the London roll. Deep fried and saused out. Ok nothing to write home about.
