Had a most enjoyable experience at Barney’s pub and eatery. The service was awesome. The food was good. Had hats, shirts, sweaters, tumblers and coozies for sale with the Barney’s pub and eatery logo. Also Had amazing special drinks. The salted carmel mudslide is to die for. My 13 year old had the twin burgers. Which was HUGE. I had the Buckeye burger with fried egg peanut butter and cottage fries. Super good. My husband had the French dip. We will definitely be going back. Stop in if you’re in The area.

Barney serves brunch once a month. Brunch starts at 11. We got here at 12:45. This place was packed fuller than the state fair giving away free bacon wrapped in hundred dollar bills.
We waited happily for the early birds to leave. After enjoying Barney’s loaded drinks and delicious brunch, I have one recommendation. Get rid of the chairs and replace them with dollies because that’s the only way anyone is going to get out of here.
I’m super mad about the prices though. They are beyond reasonable and my house isn’t going to clean itself.
Walk in as a stranger and leave as a friend. The staff is just fantastic! They were getting STOMPED on and they were nothing but delights. They should teach a class on how to remain calm when the world is imploding on you.
The food: I wish I had two stomachs as my tastebuds got an early Christmas present.

Amazing drinks and food. They can get busy, especially during their brunch so I would recommend being there when they open if going during their brunch events.

Really wanted a loaded baked potato, which is a side listed, with some wings ,but waitress didn’t think cook would want to make one. She said I could order it but by that time I was uncomfortable doing so. My burger and fries were good.

Excellent burgers. So many places now just give you a well done piece of meat. My burger was done medium and perfect. Great atmosphere and close to home in the small town of Barney.

Went out to eat 1/6/2024 at the barney bar, had the special it was a prime rib with chicken dumping soup. The soup came out just past room temp and it was apprent they used canned chicken and the oils just sat on top of it. I thought well whatever hopefully the steak is good. I was very mistaken they were both under cooked, under seasoned, there was no sear anywhere and it cost $30. If i wanted to send it back staff was no where to be seen. The place had a decent amout of people but it was less then half full. The worst part is this is far from the first time ive been extremely dissatisfied with them

Tried here for the 1st time. It wasn’t busy at all and we waited an excessive amount of time for our food. Our server was about as personable as a wet paper bag – very rude actually. She shouldn’t be a server – not the right field for her. Good food though, would recommend that. For a “slow” night, this was not a good experience.

We visited on a Sat night. 4 adults & 2 kids. We’re from out of state & were visiting family in the area. We were greeted right away and gave our drink orders. Placed out food orders and that was the last time the waitress stopped at our table. We had to ask the bartender for refills and after those no one came by again. I had to go to the counter to ask for our ticket after sitting at least 30 min after finishing eating. I was very rudely told by the waitress she supposed she could get that for us. Food and drinks were good but service was horrible.
