Ordered from Wonder Jersey City for home delivery and really liked the convenience of getting different cuisines in one order. Delivery was smooth and packaging was neat. Food quality was good overall, though a few items were better than others. Great option for busy days or when everyone wants something different.

I ordered from chicken shawarma and labneh from the middle eastern restaurant – Maydan. Excellent flavors! I tried ordering from Thai menu but I keep getting a message that it’s not available. I liked their customer service – I was having problem applying promo code and it was taken care of in few minutes of text exchange. I find the food overpriced without the discount.

Worst food delivery experience in Jersey City. Ordered from Tejas BBQ. Half of my order was missing! I ordered pork ribs and brisket. The brisket was missing the bbq sauce and the pork ribs were completely missing. Called and was placed in a waiting queue to speak with a customer service rep. Hung up after waiting 30 minutes.

Today we were in 尚宫厨restaurant again, this time was with a young couple who happen to live next door to the restaurant. We ordered 北京烤鸭, and some stir fried dishes that we usually can cook at home but couldn’t make as delicious and authentic as the restaurants do. They were delicious ! To my delight our guests enjoyed the food too, and said that when the restaurant first opened, it was good, then the food has gotten better and better. “ Great minds, think alike. “ I am glad we all had a pleasant experience. The staff members were all attentive, one person even asked me if I wanted a cup of hot water ( that’s what I drink every time), very impressed. I highly recommend this restaurant ❤️.

I ordered Chinese food from Wonder, and I just want to say upfront: this experience made Panda Express look like a three-Michelin-star pilgrimage to Shanghai.

Let’s start with the “General Tso’s.” Actually, calling it General Tso’s feels disrespectful to both generals and sauces. They should rename it General So-So, or maybe Private Bland, because whatever authority this dish once had was dishonorably discharged. The sauce tasted like it had seen soy sauce in passing once, years ago, and decided that was enough.

The dumplings? Incredible, in the sense that I didn’t know food could taste this much like the paper container it arrived in. Truly innovative. I bit into one and briefly wondered if I had accidentally eaten the packaging.

Everything had that unmistakable “this was microwaved from a frozen tray” aura — the kind you’d expect from a Dollar Tree freezer section that’s been defrosted and re-frozen twice. I’m fairly certain there’s a warehouse somewhere where these meals sit quietly, waiting for their turn to disappoint.

In summary: if you’re craving Chinese food, I recommend literally any other option…chewing on a soy sauce packet and imagining better days.

Ordered the braised chicken. Portion was small but it does taste flavorful, prob cooked with wine, the sauce is very rich. However it is not a good vaule with how much we pay.
From the look into the kitchen, it seems like a place where they reheat the premade food, so there is not really chef cooking in the back. Not sure how old was the food and the operating model of managing the food and orders.

I wanted to like Wonder so bad, it’s very close to my work and in theory should be so convenient. The service is great, theres a nice woman who always comes to greet me from behind the counter, she’s very helpful. It’s clean, the food comes out fast, and that’s where the good comments end. I’ve tried them 4 times, once Tejas BBQ, once Yasas, once Kin House and once Lime Salt and each time, it is truly awful. I kept going back because I thought maybe it was just the food I was trying, but I have not had one semi-palatable experience, and I feel now that I have tried enough variety that I can confidently give my review. I don’t understand how they operate in the kitchen, but it is clear to me that there are short cuts being taken in some capacity, because it’s bad. So bad. I want to be clear, this is nothing to do with the staff or the service, it’s everything to do with the joke food this company is charging $16-$25/entree for. And in downtown Jersey City of all places, a home to a ton of great restaurants that belong to hardworking people and deserve my money more, so that’s where I’ll be going from now on.

We have ordered from wonder about three or four times and have had only one good experience and several frustrating experiences that were either terrible inedible food or things were forgotten in our order. And one time we were not able to use the app to actually make a purchase after spending time filling out Our cart.

We ordered poke bowls that were drowned in mayonnaise and sauce as to make them soggy messes. We even tried to rinse off the fish in order to be able to eat some, but that didn’t work.

Today we ordered tandoori wings and did not get any of the sauces that come with and extremely compliment the wings. I went back to the store to get sauces and was treated extremely badly by the manager named Akeem. He essentially implied that I am lying in order to get credits after he told me that they don’t have the sauces in stock and I asked for a refund.

The last three times we have ordered from wonder we were not able to eat our food and have just been getting credits added to our account. If we ever get to actually use those credits for edible food that will probably be the last time we ever deal with wonder.

It’s a shame really because it’s a good idea on paper, but they lack the execution to make it work.

Genuinely some of the worst meals I’ve had cost wise, thankfully I did not buy it and one of my friends did. There are so many great restaurants in the area, why even go here? If you want pre-made frozen food just go to shop rite or Whole Foods a few blocks away and heat it up at home. Honestly it will be the same quality for a lot less. This seems like a concept born from a midwestern town not from a big city like New York. Food tasted bland and was clearly pre-made. Go somewhere else local, no point going here.
