Don’s BBQ is a prime example of how high ratings can be misleading. Don’t let the reviews fool you; this place is a dump. The cleanliness is questionable, with grime evident throughout the restaurant. Service is painfully slow, making the wait feel even longer. As for the food, it’s nothing to write home about—mediocre at best. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone and definitely won’t be returning. Save your time and money!

2nd Time eating here and it’s been amazing. It’s not a fancy spot, but it’s clean and service super friendly. If any one misses Aloha Teriyaki from the Hawthorne area, Don’s a comparable selection. It’s not close to Gardena but it’s worth the drive.

It’s always the same even after many years. So delicious! The portions are generous, and the BBQ Ribs Plate is especially amazing.

Update 10/22/24: Came back and ordered the same thing. Portion sizes have increased and the consistency of the flavor is what I come here for. It’s the best tasting chicken teriyaki. The Mac salad taste better than L&L Hawaiian bbq. Yup I said it
First review: Food is delicious compared to other teriyaki spots near by however the portion sizes are smaller than what I’m use to. There was barely enough rice for the meat they give.

Disappointed.
Ordered their spicy pork bowl. I’ve had it once before it was really good. Ordered it again today, however it does not taste anything like it did before doesn’t even look cooked all the way and it wasn’t spicy or had any flavor at all!

I was just there ordered the food asked for all chow main I got all rice and I dint even like rice. Meat is good but 20$ for something I didn’t ask for is crazy. I also ordered coke and didn’t get it.

It was delicious The place was quiet and a bit intimidating but if you check out their website and look over their menu I don’t believe you’ll be disappointed. The food is a good size portion for the price. I ordered the chicken with tonkatsu. I was hungry and this hit the spot. I think they’d do well if it was a drive thru.

I don’t know when this place first arrived in the neighborhood but Wow! The food is delicious! And they give you a good amount too. The sitting area is pretty small but it’s clean. It’s not cheap but not too expensive either. I recommend it.
