If you looking for real Japanese food this is the place you have to go.

1. Donkatsu is very juicy and not dry

2. Very reasonable price for all of these tonkatsu, miso soup, salad, and rice for
Only $12

3. Servers are very nice.

I’m really enjoy the lunch here.

This is $25 in food. This is proof that our country has lost its collective minds. The food is just ok. Literally meh. And they didn’t give the tempura sauce with the meal. AND I TIPPED! This is another reason why we should NEVER tip before the food is served. That way we can determine if the food and service warrants a gratuity. We absolutely will not ever return. Conscientious business practices are a thing of the past, ladies and gentlemen.

Great Restaurant kindly server.
Clean areas. Parking lot good.

I recommend for American peoples.
But I wouldn’t recommend for Korean and Japanese.

Because it’s restaurant food targeting for American peoples.

This is the place. It’s truly authentic Japanese food. They have your standard American-Japanese fusion rolls (California, Utah, Vegas rolls, etc) but the main entrees and side dishes are all purely Japanese. Food items such as Oyakodon, Agedashi Tofu, Hiyashi Wakame, the list goes on. Dishes are all affordable, most around $10-12 per person.

The atmosphere is very clean and staff are very friendly. The chefs are Japanese as well and came over after dinner to chat and ask how we liked the food.

The flavors are very on point and distinct with Sendai area cuisine. The restaurant is themed to match the Sendai summer festival. It was nice to find authentic flavors and food for such affordable prices. Definitely recommend.

I’ve been to Japan several times and I definitely will back to them again.
I went here couple days ago, the Tonkatsu so crispy and meat pretty tender not to dry.
The food so great almost 90% authentic consider in Utah and the price also affordable.

We had Santa Fe Sushi roll and Katsu. Katsu’s pork was very fresh and tender. Forgot to take a photo on Katsu but they taste good.

Overall very good. But I felt many of the dishes were light on flavor. Maybe they were going for that? Maybe have a more natural taste of the individual ingredients but the individual ingredients didn’t like very much. I felt that consistently with the side dishes. But the entrees themselves and the sushi was really good. I really enjoy the curry. Lots of caramelized onions and good curry taste. I think the price was pretty good for what you get, but like I said, flavor wise I don’t think the side dishes are worth it.

I never expected this degree of authenticity in this price. Freshness of Sashimi was also impressive. I would definitely repeat this location.

Maybe we were here on a bad night but if I could give 0 stars for the food, I would. We ordered a salmon roll and the fish was not fresh and the rice was dried out. It was as if it had been made several hours before it was served. We also had an eel donburi bowl. The eel had no sauce and was gray and cold, on top of a bowl of rice. There was a little shredded cabbage in there too and that’s it. The best part of the meal was the rice in the bowl which was at least warm. It’s been a long time since I’ve paid $20 for something that unappetizing looking that didn’t taste much better. Our server was very nice, but we felt like we lit $40 on a fire after this meal and will never eat here again.

A true taste of Japan! Came in around 30 minutes to close and we were still graciously greeted in. There was no rush by the staff even though my dad kept us way past closing time, and the head chef gave us a great selection of fresh nigiri to try. We had good interactions with all the staff and they were very attentive and amicable.

The miso was great(good sign) and the fish reminded me of my time in Japan this past summer with both fatty and lean tuna and some specialty fish I’ve never seen before. Very fresh and wonderfully cut fish, some never frozen. I even watched him clean a fish himself right behind the counters. Only reason atmosphere is a 4 is because the bathrooms needed a little TLC, but everything else was amazing. Can’t wait to go again someday.
