What an amazing lunch we had! The owner personally coming over and just being such a sweetheart! You can truly see how passionate these folks are about their food! My heart was overjoyed seeing their whole family working together.
Me being a German, I could feel AND taste the love in every bite! I highly suggest this place! We will definitely be back!

**Miller House Pub & Cafe is under new owners, and is now named Rock Island Line Tavern!! **
I went with my fiancé and a couple friends for St. Patrick’s day. We played pool, some danced and we listened to the band, Bad Influence, that was playing. Great atmosphere and people!! It was definitely a full house. Definitely recommend.

Clean, great service. If want to step back in time walls have old album covers, brings back good times. Sandwiches were great (Frisco and catfish). Beer is cold!

Amazing place! Our group of 8 walked in 15 minutes after the kitchen closed. They offered to open it back up so we could all eat after just getting into town.
The food was great!

Nothing better than a cold beer and a pool game to start the weekend. Massive selection and educated bartenders offer a great atmosphere with a jukebox that never runs out of good tunes to pick from. The inside out burgers are the best around!

I changed my rating. Got made fun of for not being local even though I’ve loved my entire life and on top of that my bf and I literally sat for hours and nobody said anything to us or acknowledged us. It’s saddening knowing who owns it but knowing how things go. It’s why it has lost so much business. Good food but made a very poor quality night to people that live nearby but tend to go to other bars. Think I’ll stick to the other bars. Couldn’t even get food because nobody even offered. Nobody said a single thing to us and decided chatting at the end of the bar and messing around was more important. I’ve been in multiple times. Each time the same. Would’ve got more than a beer but never even had the opportunity. There was only 4 people im there.

I’ve never played a gig in a band where I thought I might get shanked by the owner/manager. Was literally told to play after some chemically induced rage left us thinking there was no way we would. But because the place was packed, they decided we had to play, and maybe they would pay us. They didn’t. It was a shameful display. Only gig we’ve ever experienced this. Driving two hours to be treated like a borrowed dog, and stiffed. And they act surprised when they get bad reviews. Basically we didn’t want to play, and were going to leave, but literally were told we had to. The threat of violence was real. Then when we were stiffed, we were told we were lucky it was just that. I’ve seen this kind of thing at some events, but never directed at the entertainment and never by the bar manager. If they offer you a backwoods smoke, pass. Hard pass.

Miller House is a great place to relax, drink, eat, and watch the games. The cook, Cathy, seems very accommodating and provides excellent service. The owner, Ron, is truly a nice guy, and he believes in supporting other local businesses as well. The atmosphere is clean, friendly, and unique. The bathrooms are particularly unique and have nostalgic posters and/or record covers. Smoking is allowed within the facility, and I am not opposed to that freedom to choose to smoke even though I’m a former smoker. There is also pool available to those interested. This location is one of the best places in Owensville to relax.

Delicious food! I get the Philly with homemade potato chips almost every time I go here. Their Ruben is really good too! Good service. Nice atmosphere.

The food was alright. Burger was over cooked and a bit dry, but you can wash anything down with a cold beer. They had live music that was pretty good.
