Nice little gem located in Downtown Roswell that opened in July. We found out about this place through social media. We were skeptical at first, but was left with a great Michelin level-experience. Being the first time here with a large party, we decided to let the chef take the wheel in an omakase-style pre fixe dinner. Worry-free and at the kitchens pace, everything that was served tasted amazing. Food consisted of Wagyu, Lobster, Halibut, and fresh vegetables from the garden – even the bread service was excellent. I’ll let the pictures speak for itself. The serving staff (Angela & Russell) provided S-tier level of service. We loved the entire dinner experience so much we ended up scheduling our next visit with more people! Highly recommend this restaurant.

My wife and I love a fun exciting tasting menu every so often and Truth Be Told delivered! We dined outside and the ambiance was perfect. The varying dining areas give a different vibe in each but yet are very cohesive. It’s gorgeous right down to the bathroom. We found the staff, from Jose as our waiter to Jeremiah as the valet, to be super friendly. We were well taken care of without feeling like we were being hovered over- a fine balance! Everyone seemed to enjoy their job which relays to the guests. Chef Matthew’s food was creatively thought out and we enjoyed his visit to our table to tell him so! I’m not a bread person but the seeded bread and butter was to die for- so simple but stunning in flavor and texture. I felt a dish or two could have been balanced a bit better with acidity and the wagyu a bit less chewy but overall we loved the food. I’ll never see baby radishes or red begonias the same again! YUM! We feel this is a perfect 2 hour date night experience to try OTP!

Matt Marcus has found the perfect place to offer up his artistic Chef’s talent. Jonathan Yu has provided an absolutely fantastic venue full of ambiance and doting customer service, outstanding wine and cocktail offerings, and just the right amount of personal attention. Put the two together and it is a match made in culinary heaven. If you’re used to and enjoy standard restaurant fare, boring and loud, this place is not for you. If you want to experience what a true modern fusion cuisine is supposed to be, then Truth Be Told nails it. Bravo Jonathan and Matt…!!!

We were here for our christmas eve dinner. They only served pre-fixe menu on this day, and the menu seemed slightly different from their regular pre-fixe dishes. I was expecting more of a creative dish, but IMO it was traditional christmas food. The portion was big, and we liked the food. I would have liked a more refined plating, but I was happy with my meal overall. I like the vibe of the restaurant, however, the table I was sat was super cold. There was an a/c vent right behind my legs, and my legs were freezing cold!

Woohoo! A chef-driven tasting menu has finally landed OTP. Truth Be Told delivers 7 playful courses at a refreshingly reasonable price point in downtown Roswell, paired with excellent service (s/o to Jose!).
Highlights? The bread-and-butter course was a standout (my personal weakness), the baby veggies were surprisingly delightful, and the trio of amuse bouches set the tone beautifully. The goat cheese terrine was tasty, though it begged for a bit more texture to balance all that richness. The exquisitely plated fish was just a touch overcooked, but still solid overall, while my husband thoroughly enjoyed both the beef tongue & tri-tip. Honorable mentions go to the pickled squash, parsnip puree, & strawberry dessert.
Where things fell short for us was the cocktail program – casual drinkers may enjoy them, but as fans of spirit-forward, complex, balanced pours, we found the three we tried a touch too sweet.
All in all, it’s a fantastic date-night spot, and we’re already looking forward to coming back in the fall to soak up the patio vibes!

Truth be Told is an absolute revelation. Forget the typical “suburban” dining experience—this place operates on a completely different level. The food is world-class; I had the venison, which was cooked to perfection and easily one of the best dishes I’ve had in a long time.
The atmosphere is amazing, but what truly sets it apart is the warmth. We had the chance to meet the owners, who were super friendly and clearly passionate about what they’ve built. The service was flawless from start to finish. We are incredibly lucky to have a gem of this caliber right here in Roswell. Highly recommended!

I really wanted to like this restaurant. Overall, the food was good, but unfortunately one of my friends got food poisoning, which overshadowed the experience. We ordered the tasting menu and didn’t receive our appetizers until about 1 hour and 45 minutes after being seated. I would also skip the upcharged items – the pricing feels odd and not worth it.
Our server was genuinely lovely, but we felt neglected at the beginning of the meal. To top it off, we ordered tiramisus to go, and they appeared to be leftovers – the tiramisu served on the plate looked noticeably different from what we received in the box.

Super kind staff and great food. I highly recommend the lobster toast. Although, the brown butter icecream we had for dessert had a strange texture. We had a great night and the bartender made us some amazing mocktails!

Had the pleasure of dining at Truth Be Told early on.
The atmosphere was very pleasant. Comfortable and inviting. The repurposing of the original building makes it a very special place.
The food was a very enjoyable experience!! Trying items I’ve never tasted was with explanations from our server was fun! My husband and I each ordered different items to be able to try more.
The beef was AMAZING! As well as the Turbo.
Our server was very knowledgeable and friendly.
Also enjoyed chatting with the bartenders prior to our table being ready.
Over all would definitely recommend Truth Be Told!

Was super excited to visit this restaurant. Our experience was something like this: The ambience was brilliant, the staff were amazing, now onto the food: Exceptionally underwhelming, we are a foodie family and have enjoyed food in many parts of the world , I love pretty food, which this was but super underwhelming to say the least. Let’s not get into the price where you can expect to pay at least $400 for two, I have no issue paying good money for good food, but this was a real disappointment. Stand outs was the bread and the very tasty apple tart dessert.
