My first time going to Gas Lite was for a private event and it was awesome. They were well staffed and made great drinks at the bar. The food provided was also delicious!

Walked in and was told to sit anywhere while she finished her personal phone call. We had reservations so we had to look for our own table. Then they spelled our name wrong. Then I was rushed through ordering from a limited menu. That was not mentioned when we made the reservation …within the first 5 minutes I felt like leaving. I was so cold by the time my food came I couldn’t feel my fingers. Only good thing I got was my $19.00 lobster tail. Mushrooms were cold like they just poured them out of the can. Steak was underdone …huge disappointment. My server ignored me on all levels. I won’t ever be back. I tipped my rude server 12% due to lack of doing her job.

Wow I’m going to add to Bobby’s review. I ordered same meal but I didn’t get fish. It took waiter 45 minutes after we ordered to tell us they were out of fish. There was only another table of two waiting to eat. When “food” came out my wife’s fish was so over cooked she didn’t eat. My meal was $16 and had no fish. They knocked off $3 bucks. After this waiter gave us coupons for “free” appetizers. Like we’re really coming back. Save the frustration and go to white bear

Great food, everything was made from scratch no “jar sauce” or shortcuts, the service was very friendly and prompt, the atmosphere comfortable and the establishment was very clean and neat. The prices were fair, but don’t expect this to be a discount dinner. Overall, I was impressed at the quality, especially in a day when most restaurants are mainly interested in throwing the least effort they can at you and getting you out the door.

The only star of this place was the waitress. She was very nice and worked as hard as she could to remedy the other issues.
Other than that, the only way to really enjoy the food and atmosphere at this place is to heavily partake in the spirits they serve. Once you have a few hard drinks in you, you might not notice the lackluster food, or the outdated (and damaged) tables and chairs.
The food is way overpriced, and they anly serve canned drinks… For an upcharged rate.
Would not recommend.

Ordered the meatloaf “dinner” it was not a dinner. It was pretty much a kids portion, containing two thin pieces of meatloaf and barely any mashed potatoes. The meatloaf was okay, the potatoes were good and the gravy was very good. Next was the iced tea, it tasted like someone filled their mouth with ground used coffee beans and spit in it. Not coming back anytime soon

Probably the best restaurant in the area. Top of the line steaks and chops. Watch out for the mixed drinks, they definitely DO NOT water them down. Atmosphere is warm and subdued, very romantic if you bring a date. The gentleman who owns the establishment treats everyone as if he has known you for years. Good guy. Plenty of parking.

I ordered my steak medium rare and it came to me shoe leather well done. Also, they pour some kind of seasoning on the meat that overwhelmed any flavor the beef had left. They also serve lettuce, a quarter of a tomato and a quarter of an egg and call it a salad. So many better places to eat in the valley. I’ll never go back to this place.
