Our first time here. The staff was friendly. The pretzel appetizer was a mixed bag….the beer cheese was very good, although more of a garlic flavor than beer. The pretzels however were very overcooked and tough. The side salads were very good when compared to other restaurants side salads. For our main course we got the chicken Alfredo and the shrimp scampi past special. The chicken was overcooked and dry (too thin) but the Alfredo sauce was very good. The shrimp pasta was very bland even after adding salt myself. It needed more garlic or other flavors. It just tasted like plain pasta with plain shrimp in it. Both the strawberry basil lemonade and the dangerous margarita were good although not worth the $10 they are charging for them. This place has a solid start going for it, just needs some tweaking. We will try it again, although the prices for almost every menu item seemed about $1-2 more than normal (especially considering the small portions). Overall, it is good, but it could be great.

Food good. Don’t be in a hurry. Took 45 minutes almost late for the movie. My food was good but cold.

This place is great! It just opened inside the Skye Cinema movie theater, and they serve pizzas, wraps, grinders, pasta, steaks, salads, and fish. Since they just opened, there were a few kinks, but our server was very nice and even put a rush on our food so we could get to our movie on time. I got the daily special: pork chops, and they were absolutely delicious. Give this place a try before before your next movie!

It’s kind of weird because it’s attached to a movie theater. I wasn’t sure if I was walking into a restaurant or a movie theater. The menu is very limited. The food itself was quite good. The whipped feta appetizer was phenomenal. The burger was very tasty. The beer battered fries outstanding. Please for the love of your French fries get rid of that awful ketchup. The only thing that did not satisfy me was the lack of service. I did not get refills on my water I had to ask another server for refills.

Service was spot on. The food delivered quickly. My DH had the candied burger and the jalapeños were a little bit for him. I had the Reuben with sauerkraut- so good. Would definitely go again though we’re not in Wauseon too often.

What a perfect experience for our dinner and date night! If you’re planning to see a movie at Skye Cinema, be sure to always include this place before getting cozy in the theater! Reelwood Kitchen is a true hidden gem in Wauseon. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this restaurant is a must-visit. With its delicious food, top-notch service, and welcoming ambiance, it’s no surprise that Reelwood Kitchen has quickly become a favorite in the community. Matt & Mindy are amazing owners and truly care about the satisfaction of their customers! They recommended the special and it did not disappoint! There’s always something new on the menu each visit! Highly recommended!

The food was so good. I got the smash burger and fries and they were the delicious crispy fries and the burger was amazing. And the prices were great. 2 meals and 2 beers under $40 can’t find that anywhere

Just discovered this little gem and went twice in 1 week. Very convenient to have a restaurant that offers this nice of a menu within steps of being able to continue date night with a reasonably priced movie night!
