Did a walk-in no-rsvp impromptu gals dinner on Wednesday night to celebrate a belated bday. Were seated immediately & thrilled they have bigger booths seating up to 6 adults comfortably.
Had great experience & will DEFINITELY be back to try more items on their extensive traditional with a twist Mexican food menu. LOVED the ‘handcrafted’ (& pricier BUT worth it!) Margaritas with freshly squeezed limes & oranges. Incredibly refreshing & beautifully presented. Super helpful & attentive waitstaff.
Staff keyed in to our pal’s bday & included a surprise celebratory fried ice cream sundae & bday serenade after we finished eating dinner. It made the gathering even more special and festive for our group!

The tacos were amazing. They were full of flavor and tasted so fresh. Jordis was such a great server. She was kind, friendly, and always made sure we had everything we needed. She made our experience even better. I would definitely come back again.

First time here and from the moment we arrived we felt welcomed and appreciated. Lisa took excellent care of us and the food we ordered was very well executed. We had the California jalapeños appetizer, grilled nachos with chicken, steak, and shrimp, and birria tacos. Dessert was a fried ice cream and the perfect way to finish! Pleasantly surprised, first visit to Chesterland Compadres Grill. Sat at the bar Sunday night about 6:30 pm, Lisa was our server/ bartender. Very pleasant, nice atmosphere, clean, food was great. One of the worst local Mexican food experiences of my life was at the Mentor location 5 years ago. I had never been back until recently. One of the better local Mexican food experiences I have had was at this one in Chesterland. We had a party of eight, and every one of us loved our entree. Our server was attentive and pleasant. If I lived closer I would frequent this place.

The food is spot on, large portions of food, fresh ingredients. Ceviche is spot on everytime with a ton of shrimp, sals is fresh everyday with warm chips, street taco’s were loaded with steak, the beer is cold and the staff and owner are great people.
