I moved to Bowdoin last year and have been here a handful of times, the food has been very consistent and yummy! If you’re craving comforting Thai food, the kind that warms your whole mood, this is the place. I keep coming back and I’m never disappointed. ✨ The food always hits like a warm hug, a therapy session, and a personality reset all in one. The flavors stay slaying, the vibes stay immaculate, and the portions are great ◡̈ also their Thai ice tea is so good!!

Everything we ordered was incredible, and the service was friendly and attentive. It’s also so nice to find truly authentic Thai food in Richmond.
Pro tip: get the fried ice cream for dessert. It is SO GOOD.
Zero complaints!

Wow! Sumrub is such a gem. Richmond is such a small little town in Maine- it’s amazing that it’s home to such a delicious and delightful Thai restaurant. It’s easily on par with food you’d get in Portland or other big cities- it is really quite good. They also have awesome specials that are worth a try! Their spice scale is definitely slanted toward Thai spicy vs white person spicy. I like spicy food and I’ll probably stick to a level 2- it gives a good kick and makes me sniffle a bit, but it tastes great and still enjoy my food. I could probably do a level 3 but might not enjoy it as much. Anyway, 100% worth a try! It will be a regular place (for take out or dine in) for my family.

The food was amazing. Except the calamari was very chewy. The sizes are small. We spent $120 and we were still hungry. We usually spend $120 at a chinese place the next town over and have enough for left overs the next day. It’s unfortunate the portions are so small in comparison.

The Fresh Rolls were delicious, and served as ordered [appetizer] with ample time to enjoy before the main dishes. The Crunchy Chicken Basil stir fry was probably one of the best Thai dishes I’ve ever had, and I’ve had alot. The Drunken Noodles were very good, and not sure it could have been made any better. The price was very reasonable and we’ll definitely be back!

Small cozy restaurant with amazing food! Can’t wait to go back. Lunch was quiet and easy to have a conversation. They have an outside eating area if the weather is nice. unique desserts.

Staff are friendly! Place is clean! Food is fantastic! I can’t say if it’s authentic or not but I can say it’s delicious. Pad Thai, green curry, orange chicken and sweet chili chicken are 10/10, definitely coming back.

I really wanted to give this more stars because it’s a new restaurant in the town but… not so tasty.
I tried the pad thai, zero flavor, no sauce, it fell flat.
I had the Low Mein and that tasted funny… can’t put my finger on it but there was zero flavor – it left a weird aftertaste.
The spring rolls were ok but that sauce that came with it, yuck! I think I tasted black licorice or anise.
The jasmine rice was good though.
Not coming back, unfortunately
