Fantastic staffs and fantastic foods. We went in during a quiet Monday for some early holidays gathering. The meats quality is top notch and the available sides and veggies are more than plenty and delicious. We recommend the sukiyaki and tonkotsu base if possible. Although I prefer my Wagyu in a grilled style, Shabu Shabu is an excellent cooking option too. We did received news the Shabu Shabu option might be ending soon so please go visit them ASAP!

Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and I’m surprised more people didn’t. Maybe they were like us and didn’t know what shabu shabu is or what they offered, but a quick search told us we were in for a lot of yummy food.

We went with the mid grade all you can eat (68 per person) and ordered all the meats and lots of veggies. You can get two different broths, we had the delicious tonkotsu and the spicy waygu which was VERY spicy to me, but still tasty.

Staff was SO nice and helpful, explained anything we didn’t know on the menu and how to best cook with the hot pot.

The food was excellent and way easier to cook compared to Korean BBQ which is the closest experience I’ve had to this. Appetizers were delicious too, but I wanted more room for the mouth-watering wagyu and we couldn’t finish all our appetizers. The gyoza and the garlic cucumber were our favs.

I wish we had an AYCE hot pot place where I’m from! We definitely hope to come back some day!

Amazing experience we came for my birthday in march and it was so delicious the Golden chicken broth is a must ! Smells so good and the food is so delicious! It felt like a good home cooked meal truly! And the waiter was one of the most memorable parts very attentive kind and patient ! I am now back again in September and let me tell you once again amazing experience waitress was very kind very attentive speedy service we were sat within seconds and greeted by a very nice woman truly a must try place , clean nice music . Very nice seating arrangements either sitting in a booth or “bar” type seating. The vegetables are fresh! The garlic cucumbers are so tasty and refreshing will come back a 3rd 4th 5th 6th 7th time it’s really just that good . I will be dreaming of the next time I get to come eat here.<3

For a restaurant offering All You Can Eat options, the quality and presentation of the food is in the top tier. There is a fair amount of variety when it comes to broth and they do provide enough vegetables and side dish choices to make the meal complete. The higher tiers of AYCE are most worth it for the non-meat choices in my opinion. Service is good but when it’s busy, it suffers from the crowded nature of small spaces and the service can be a bit slow since they spend extra time on presentation. The wagyu is great for quality and I would say you can easily get your money’s worth on quality instead of over-eating to recoup the cost. Great weekday dinner spot in Japantown and a good casual date night.

I came to Japan town for my lady’s birthday and didn’t know wat to eat. We stumbled on this place and loved it. The chicken broth is amazing and the arrangement of different food to put in it. Great people great cooks i heard them laughing having a good time in the back. Just overall great experience that any one should try.

This is the best Shabu Shabu in San Francisco. We come here for all of our special celebrations. They have a huge counter where we can fit 12 family members all at once the beef is so high-quality! I’ve been to Japan so many times and I can tell you this place is very special!!!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! actually so amazing I was sad to leave. Haven’t been to San Francisco in at least 5 or more years, my son (who is actually 7) pointed out this resteraunt and said he wanted hotpot. As a family we have been to a few different hotpot places, this one is by far the best. It is definitely the most expensive but it is WORTH it! We did get a premium wagyu option, and it was some of the best beef ive ever had, which I have had wagyu before but this one was just so crazy good. I got the golden chicken broth, my boyfriend got the spicy wagyu broth, we were both extremely happy with our choices. Our server also was extremely wonderful and super hilarious. Ive already asked my boyfriend if we can go back specifically here next year for my birthday, and my 7 year old thought the food was also very good, he says it is the best meat he has ever had. Thank you for the amazing experience! Appetizers were also amazing

I walked by and stopped to try this place on Friday at 11.30 am. and very disappointed !
The server has some attitude since I walked in but I thought it’s ok. Only 1 table 2 people in the restaurant.

The lady server came and asked, I said only me she said ok which one ? I asked do you have lunch specials only or do you have another menu? She said yes which one? Mini pot or big pot with her attitude that I almost walk out. But I also super hungry. I asked to see menu it’s my first time. Then I decided for AYCE premium waygu $68. She walked me to counter bar and said other side have reservations so have to sit here.

Then I ordered , she said only 3 meats at the time. 2 appetizer and sides. So I ordered then more people as a group coming in and I almost finished my meats , you can see in pics that not much meats. And I don’t have much time so I want to order more , eat and leave. But she not really care.
I put the meats in the pot and left there fews second but she walked to me and said you should just dip piece by piece only 5 seconds , if you left like this the meat will be chewy! Ok. Thank you I told her. And I ordered more meats. The A5 is good . Then I tried to finish my meats to order more. And now the counter bar is full and still only 1 server. I had to wait to order for a while. And she just walked pass me. I said can I order more and she just said will be right back.

At the end she came and said last call. So I ordered 2 more meats and she said are you sure if you left food will be 20% charge!

First of all, I know the rule for all AYCE and I always finished it. And normally I eat a lot of meats
She might think I won’t finish it but I will and I didn’t order that much because she not really came by and I cant order much.

Others people that came in order mini pot only the table and me that order big pot.

At the end I asked for bill and she came so quick with the machine to pay, she just standing there I put the survey about bad service. And she looked at it when I gave her back the machine and said loudly “Am I that bad?” And all customers looked at me. I wanted to say I paid over $70 what do you think? But I didn’t say that I just said because she told me to do this and do that. And I walked out.

This is my only time that I ordered not much. Only 10 trays.

I’m sorry that I eat too I feel like she doesn’t want me to order more.

The soup Sukiyaki is very blended, no flavor at all. It likes they put more water in the soup only can see color. The meats quality is ok. I really like A5.

Only not good is service!

This is a classy shabu house with quality Wagyu meat, a great selection of sides, and very kind and attentive staff members. I liked the deep and savory flavors of the konbu and chicken broths. Just be careful, though, since the konbu broth can splash when boiled for a long time. Try various sides, too, since they all have excellent quality! There’s no need to mention how great the meat was. When I visited there in a big group, though only one guy was taking and bringing orders, and although we had him pretty busy, he was friendly and attentive. Overall, they offer the best all-you-can-eat shabu experience in Japan Town.
