Today is the first time we tried Charlie’s. The portions are great. We got ribs and brisket with beans and potato salad. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The flavor and tenderness of the brisket and ribs were great. The beans had more cilantro than my husband likes but I liked it. Potato salad was good too. Would definitely recommend

Found this BBQ joint while picking up my rental at Enterprise across the street. Enterprise employees gave a rave review. We tried the 2 meat (brisket and sausage) & 2 sides plate (rice salad and beans). We also added a rib. The entire meal was scrumptious. The brisket was cooked to perfection. It was moist. The ribs fall apart in your mouth. The sausage had great flavor. The rice salad was new to me and is very yummy. Beans had great flavor as well. We tried both barbecue sauces that were offered, regular and spicy, and both were very good! We will be back for sure. They do close when they sell out so go early enough in the day.

Wow! Great food. I had the loaded baked potato with brisket, cheese, sour cream, and jalapenos. It had to weigh in at 3 or 4 pounds! Seriously.
Also had some ribs. Very meaty, nice and peppery. Sauce is a little sweet for my taste, but good.
My wife had the brisket sandwich and said it was great, with a lot of brisket.
Even better, it is a family run business.

Sold out quick, by 1:30ish. The Staff was apologetic but professional. We were looking for a quality BBQ place on the way back home from Austin, TX. This location had great reviews so we decided to give it a try. We got there and they were pretty much sold out but were offering great service. We got the last of the brisket and ribs along with some leg quarters. The brisket was moist but did not have much of a smoke ring. The ribs were dry and did not have much meat. The leg quarters were ok but we have had better. The potato salad was fresh but had a dill aftertaste. The banana pudding was freshly prepared but again we have had better.
We were treated extremely well. The food was courteously packed for take home. The other Customers were all having a friendly conversation giving a welcoming atmosphere.

Ordered a whole brisket for Easter Sunday for my wifes family. To say it was amazing is an understatement. It was perfectly cooked! The family from out of town said it was the best BBQ they ever had. The price was so reasonable as well. And it had all the sides and things we needed to top it off. Will not eat BBQ from anyone else local again other than Charlies place. Thank you for making our first official Family Easter a great success !

I accidentally stumbled upon this gem in Taylor and I was happy I did! There wasn’t a long wait and the smoked meats were well cooked(fat rendered) and tender. Potato salad was the side I chose and it was a blast from the past, old school style. The ribs had a fantastic bite to them! Kudos!
