Super nice staff, very friendly and accommodating. I noticed they do a brisk takeout business. We dined on, waited a bit for our order to be prepared and were not disappointed. More food on the dinner than I can eat; had to request takeout containers and have enough left over for tomorrow’s dinner. My spouse enjoyed the huge BBQ chicken while I devoured two pieces of whiting. Tasty sides, too, especially the authentic flavor of the collard greens which brought back nice memories of the South for me. Will definitely be back, but probably order less food next time — haha!!

My first time eating here and the staff was helpful. It took about 15mins or so for our food to be ready. I opened the boxes and got excited! Started with the beans very good. Mac n cheese didn’t seem to be homemade, had no flavor and way to much pepper! Brisket was candy! Chicken was dry and had way to many small bones. Ribs were delicious! I was rushing to try the catfish…it was salty in some parts and a little over fried but I ate the middle thick part. All the meat could use a bit of more sauce and could be hotter! I do believe I will give them another try!

Small place but the food was great!
Portion size on the combo meal was bigger than I expected but I felt the portion size was comparable for the price paid. Only constructive criticism is I did not care for the beans, but I grew up in Missouri and bbq beans are a religion there and here I see a lot of ranch style beans used and that’s not for me. But that is a total personal preference there was noting physically wrong with them.
Would definitely return here again

We ordered $77.77 with of food today at the food truck at the waterfront in Vallejo. It was not worth it. Sandwich was tiny for the price we paid, potato salad taste store bought like Safeway brand. HOT-link sandwich was not hot and was not a sandwich it was a hotdog. We waited over 30 minutes for our food, Portions are way too small for what they charge. Will NOT be returning to this place.

I gotta say, these may be the tenderest ribs I’ve ever eaten. The ribs were so soft it fell right off the bone and into my mouth. My wife had the brisket and she’s really picky and she said that they were so soft with a lot of flavor and enjoyed them, which is saying a lot. Usually it takes a new place a little while to settle in but they seem to be all ready with great food as it is. We’ll definitely go back and try their chicken wings and other offerings. Congratulations!

This place does not disappoint! I ordered the beef brisket which was tender and smoked to perfection. The Mac and cheese was creamy with the top cheese just how I like it! Oh my, the greens were tasty and flavorful. To top it off the peach cobbler delivered the right amount of sweetness and peaches! I highly recommend this spot!!

Ordered the rib dinner (4 bones) with mac n’ cheese and green beans for sides. The ribs were fall of the bone tender. The sauce was not too much, not too little but, just right. The mac n’ cheese was moist and cheesey. Price reasonably at $16.00. Great value. The dessert in the case was filled with many delectable choices. I have my eye on a slice of caramel cake, although I’ll have to try next time.
