The food and service were absolutely incredible. Without a doubt, the freshest sushi we’ve had anywhere in the area! Prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality of the food.
We ordered the crispy rice, rock shrimp, sushi boat, kids chicken teriyaki, and gyoza but the food was so delicious, this is the only picture I managed to grab. Without a doubt, this will be our new go-to!

One of the best hibachi restaurants I’ve ever been to. The prices are so affordable and you get PLENTY of food. Not to mention how attentive and friendly the staff is. We called for a reservation 2 hours before they closed and they fit us in. The table was prepped perfectly waiting for us as soon as we walked in. Such a good hidden gem near Storrs CT.

Nice Japanese with great rolls, edamame, and service. The hibachi menu looks good, but we will test it another time. Nice tea pot and cups although a bit small ( for $7). Nice decor except gloomy grey walls. We will come again for sure.

This is the third time we’ve been to Wasabi. It is a small place in the center of Coventry and there’s always very clean and the food is fresh.
I typically get the hibachi chicken shrimp and it is always hot and the portions are a good size they give you a lot of protein. It is served quickly and very good. My husband gets sushi sometimes and sometimes also hibachi and it’s consistent. The service is lovely and the price is reasonable.
If you want to go to hibachi and have it made in front of you, this is not the place to go. They cook it behind in the kitchen, so it’s not the same experience is going to some of the other ones but it’s great for going in to eat there or take takeout as well.

Consistently wonderful food quality, both dine in and take out. The service is phenomenal, attentive and quick. They make the very best of their small dining room with perfect cleanliness and simple decor.

Amazing food. The sushi and bento box lunch specials are super affordable and the options of sushi are plentiful. The hibachi entrees and noodles are excellent. I’ve never dined in but plan to in the future but the food is consistent and delicious everytime I’ve gotten it. Highly recommend

I love this place. We have been six times in two weeks. Sushi, Hibachi, Ramen. I can highly recommend the gyoza soup (I loved it so much, I ordered more to take home for the next day.) The Ramen is okay but sushi and hibachi are top notch. I love the quality and service.

We finally tried Wasabi, and it was easily the best sushi and hibachi take-out we’ve had in the area! Ordering online was flawless and our fold was done right on time, incredibly polite staff, and everything we ordered was amazing (spicy Kani salad, seaweed salad, fried pork goyza, chicken & shrimp hibachi, and 4 sushi rolls). So excited they’re right on Main Street. Will definitely be dining in soon.

This unassuming spot in a Waterbury strip mall touched all the bases. The hibachi meals were filling and tastefully prepared. The service was excellent and the hibachi chef was skilled and funny. Well done all around.

I’ve had much much fancier meals from them but this just a lunch from them and im blown away at the detail they put into it for such a great price too! 18 buckaroos! cant beat that for quality sushi
