Having lived in San Francisco for a decade, I am a sucker for a big old burrito. When I stumbled upon this place, I was hooked — tiny shack like building, one menu item (served three ways), and a bright yellow sign advertising their domain: burritos!
The girl who took my order informed me the steak was a winner and that the owner had some cred being from California. That turned out to be true as my burrito was nicely layered, pressed and warmed and included a surprise — fries. I am guessing the owner hails from San Diego.
Feels like a very local spot you have to work to find. Go get yourself a winner of a burrito.

Every time I’m in Charleston, The Press is always on my list — and usually not just once. The food is consistently excellent: flavorful, so well executed for something seemingly so simple, and always delicious. You can tell who ever is behind this really loves burritos and understands what makes them great. Ordering is super easy, whether online or in person, and the staff could not be friendlier or more welcoming. It’s rare to find a place that nails both execution and hospitality, but The Press does it every time. Highly recommend. Get the Steak Burrito

Grilled CA burrito takeaway. Friendly dudes and made fresh for you. Even had the French fries inside. Definitely a gut bomb but worth the extra mile or 2 on the treadmill.

This place is such a hidden gem! The burritos are packed with flavor — I tried the steak and it was perfectly tender, while my friend had the chicken and loved it just as much. They also have a great bean option that’s super hearty and fresh. The atmosphere is just as good as the food, especially with the garden patio — it’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a casual meal outside. Friendly service, generous portions, and unbeatable vibes. Definitely my new go-to spot!

We got a bean burrito and sat outside in their cute garden dining area. It was no wait and quick. The bean burrito was good, not too big but good size. The prices are good too!
It’s a great concept, small quick and 3 options. I love that they offer the bean burrito for those of us that don’t eat meat. Would be cool to offer a Gf option too.

C’mon man. That’s not a burrito. Go look at your social media and compare it to what you actually serve your customers.

Best burritos in town. Affordable, fast, and very filling with a super cute and convenient pick up window. Their green hot sauce is a must. Bonus tip; there are tables along the side of the building for enjoying your burrito on a nice day.

The Press is right next door to The Tippling House and has quickly become a favorite spot of ours. They make the best chicken, steak, and bean burritos—fresh, flavorful, and always satisfying. The portions are generous, the ingredients taste high-quality, and everything is prepared with care.
If you’re craving a burrito that hits the spot every time, The Press is the place to go!!!

We loved our lunch at The Press! We had the bean and steak burritos, both of which were delicious. I love that they use fries in place of rice, which I really wish I could find in a restaurant closer to home. My only regret is that we didn’t have time for another lunch before we caught our flight!
