The hours here are listed until 1:00 PM. My dad and I went. We entered into the restaurant at 12:45…it was seat yourself. We sat. After sitting there for about 10 minutes, someone came over to us and told us the restaurant was closed…this was still before 1:00. Disappointing to day the least. My husband is in food service and closing times are understandable, but the signage should indicate that orders end 15 minutes before closing or at least turn off your open sign!

This place is so good. I had fresh fried haddock and ploys. So good and the staff is so friendly. My father raves about the taco wrap here! And the French fries are cut fresh daily! Amazing french fries!

I always enjoy going to Chez Helen whenever I visit Madwaska. It’s modern chic design and welcoming wait staff makes every visit a great one. Not to mention that the owner is almost always present and greets every customer she can to ensure that the service is great. Highly recommend trying their coconut creme pie, the best I’ve ever had!
