On a random, spur-of-the-moment decision, my fiancé and I stopped at a place that looked like a Popeyes doppelgänger. Not knowing what to expect, we were in for a pleasant surprise.
Let’s start with what this place is known for: their Seoul-style crispy chicken. We ordered the crispy chicken wing meal that came with 8 pieces, one side, and a drink. We opted for the original crispy wings with their sweet and sour sauce on the side. The chicken was incredibly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. When I say crispy, I mean ASMR-worthy crispy! The batter was well-seasoned, and the sweet and sour sauce was reminiscent of Korean gochujang chicken—sweet on the tongue with a heat that kicks in right after.
For our side, we chose the waffle fries. They were cooked to perfection and the portions were very generous. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, they were everything you could hope for in a fry.
We also ordered an extra side of corn salad. It was flavorful and delicious, though a bit on the watery side, probably due to the sauce. A word of caution: if you’re not an onion lover, you might want to skip this dish as the onion flavor can be quite overpowering.
The service was outstanding. Even though they initially brought out the wrong item, our server,Julia, quickly apologized and corrected the mistake, even throwing in an extra basket of fries for the trouble. Talk about customer service!
I am definitely looking forward to trying their chicken sandwich on our next visit.
Oh, and by the way, they have amazingly clean bathrooms!
Overall, this place was an unexpected gem, and I can’t believe I hadn’t discovered it sooner. If you’re in the area, it’s definitely worth a visit.

This place is a gem. We had a family set and food is fresh, generous portion. I have never seen such a big wing in Suwanee and sandwiches are much much better than Chick-fil-A. Seassoning is perfect, not salty at all. I am happy to find this place.

We ordered red hot pepper boneless wings and they were delicious. We also got Gang Jeong, and it was amazing!!!!

actually so delicious… chicken is so crispy and tender! workers are so kind and helpful, and the food came out so quick. we tried the chicken tenders with gang jeong sauce on the side, as well as the 5 pc fried chicken meal with the waffle fries. so good and we loved the corn !

I genuinely recommend this place! Personally, I prefer chicken sandwiches over burgers, and this one is the best! The marination is fantastic, and the chicken is fresh, surpassing even Korea’s Mom’s Touch. I love the version with lots of veggies, so I had the Deluxe, which was so huge that I was stuffed after just half. Highly recommended!

My kids love like Korean-style chicken. Since it was newly opened, so I visited and tried 3 different menus. Unlike other Korean-style chicken, it was mildly spicy, so my kids really enjoyed it. And the fried chicken was crispy enough and very good tasting! Highly recommended!

After learning about the history of Korean fried chicken, I’ve been intrigued to try it whenever I can. This chicken was better than okaay! The wings were juicy on the inside, perfectly fried on the outside, and the gang jeong sauce was a nice blend of sweet and spicy. The coleslaw was decent, but next time I’ll check out the corn salad or pickled veggies instead.

Okaay is a new addition to a small strip center that shines with excellent dining options. This is Okaay’s review, but I recommend trying all three of the restaurants here. Atmosphere and decor are modern and tastefully done. The front line employee that served us was friendly and helpful. It took a few minutes to receive our food, so it is clearly made to order. The kids meal is three pieces of boneless fried chicken and waffle fries. My kids enjoyed it very much. My order was the 8 piece boneless with sweet and sour (Korean) sauce, coleslaw and corn salad. Korean sauced chicken was nice, flavorful, and a big portion. Sides were good, balanced flavor and texture, freshly prepared. I definitely recommend for families. We will be back.

I saw the sign and I said OK let me go in and try. The cashier girl at the front desk was so kind and suggested great options. Food came out quick and it was warm. Very very very tasty. Definitely recommend 10 out of 10. Also kids eat free. I didn’t have my kid with me and she still gave me the free kids meal so I ended up buying more food haha to support. Chicken sandwich was delicious and sooo juicy. Also coleslaw was bomb. I live 25 mins away but will definitely return.
