Stay away from this place. They did me dirty! Gave me all bones. Most of it is not edible. I dined in and curried chicken was cold. Food not the same since it was redecorated. Maybe they got a new cook. Not sure. You have been warned

Highly disappointed in the spot. I went here on my lunch break ordered Jerk Chicken, rice and peas and wasn’t happy at all. As I took a bite of my food I pulled out a piece of hair. I was unable to return to the restaurant for a refund because I was on lunch break and already reach back to my job. My coworker was raving about this place but I don’t see why she like the food it was dry and not to mention I piece of hair was in my food. $15.00 gone down the drain. Do not recommend

My wife and I are both Jamaican and we know good Jamaican home cooked food. The staff at this location are very friendly and accommodating. The store is bright and clean and you can see good safe food handling practices being done. We had the oxtail with veg and rice and peas. Large portions, tender meat, beautiful flavours, it’s as close as it gets to me Aunty cooking!

I’ve been to quite a few Golden Crust franchises throughout my life and hands down this has been the best experience with outstanding service, generous portions and reasonable pricing. Always parking and lots of seats for dining in.
Their ital stew is absolutely amazing, well seasoned and not salty. I drove past 3 Golden Crust restaurants to get to this one in Tamarac Florida and it was worth the trip. You guys rock!!!

What can I say about the crew at the Tamarac location? This is where I go for my meals – every time I get a meal I can’t even finish it. I end up having to split it for breakfast and lunch or lunch and dinner because their portions are generous. Thanks for the excellent hook up every time wiith catering for my home (Christmas or birthday parties or when I’m just lazy or have no time to cook), catering for my church events, etc. The service is “off the chain” and the team there is really easy to work with. I appreciate this branch so much for the way they work with me and my office to get us what we need. Big up to Julian, Natanya, Alex and Rashida.

Food was on point. It did not disappoint. The portions were quite large, ended up splitting it into two meals which works out good. Definitely will be back. I got the bbq chicken with curry gravy on the rice, wife got the oxtail which was on point and my sister tried the stew fish which was. Seasoned quite nicely. Will definitely be back when back in Fort Lauderdale. Also got a half and half order of wings to go and a small pan of macaroni. (Didn’t get a picture of those. Will definitely have more than enough left overs. All in all for the price paid, it was worth it. Big up to the staff also, service was on point.

I only ended up here because dutch pot was sold out of food. I encountered an employee named Julian I think that was her name she was an American she was extremely rude speaking under her breath I told her I was unable to hear her she was irritated by that. I told her they either had to turn down the music or she needed to speak up. I asked her because there was one boiled dumping if they had any more she was quick to tell me NO only for a brand new full container to come out I then asked for ackee and salt fish she was about to give me the last in the pot which would have been the scrapes before the manager intervened to let me know if I was willing to wait a few minutes she had a fresh container coming out, I appreciated her level of professionalism, at that point I was done dealing with the first employee. Fast forward to getting home and eating the food the ackee was overcooked and suited for someone with no teeth horrible. If you know your food is not thee best or comparable to your competitors that are close by atleast be friendly welcoming and provide suburb customer service. I will not be returning not worth my money, I know better for next time. My advice to the owners and management do not hire people like that employee who either has an issue interacting with people or has a disdain for Caribbean people because she was a turn off!
