Absolutely delicious. Perfect late lunch after the cave tour. Wonderful service. Gorgeous decor and atmosphere. Had the McKay burger, brisket sandwich (perfectly smoked), and kids grilled cheese (best kids grilled cheese ever). All the sides were delicious. I’m still thinking about the beans. Was such a treat, thank you!

Food was delicious! Cod basket, orange chicken rice bowl, and sesame chicken rice bowl were also good portion sizes. Good options for kids meals. Highchair available too. The waiter was kind but he didn’t come to check on us and put empty beverages. That being said, I would still go back and try other menu items!

Menu was a good length and we had a tough choice for dinner because many things sounded good. I thought there were some fairly unique options on the menu you didn’t see at many, if any, other restaurants. Cesar salad was lovely and I really enjoyed the shrimp scampi rice bowl. Everything was cooked to perfection. Would recommend for a great stop after the caves.

The steak was so tender i could literally cut it with my fork
The food was excellent, coffe was great wait staff/owner was very friendly and accommodating, the atmosphere and decor was spot on for the area highly recommended this place for breakfast i woll most certainly be back for breakfast aswell as lunches and supper

We just discovered this small spot in Spring Valley, WI, and it is fantastic for lunch. Best grilled chicken/bacon sammy ever, and the McKay burger was just incredible. “It’s the homemade sauce” according to the owner, and it is, but it’s more than that: it’s the perfect thick, flavorful bacon, chicken grilled exactly right, terrific medium-rare beef, all done up right. Not too far from Hudson and River Falls, so easy to get to. Wherever you’re coming from, it is WELL worth the trip.
