if you want good bbq you cant get anywhere else this is your place. I’ve had a lot of good and bad bbq in southern Indiana/kentucky this is the best by far the best. i got the rib dinner and my wife got the pulled chicken sandwich and we also got the nachos to share between the both of us. let me tell you the ribs (which were dry rubbed) were so good they didnt even need any sauce on them (they have sweet and spicy bbq on the tables which btw the sauces were ) and were so fall off the bone you didnt have to barely touch them to fall out. lastly i have give a shout out to the staff. there is only two ladies and the pitmaster working and we’re able to get food out at a reasonable amount of time considering there was quite a few people in the store when we went around 6:00 pm on a Saturday. 11/10 definitely will be back

Had the fried mushroom appetizer, excellent! The sampler platter rocked. Excellent ribs, brisket, pork and chicken were all great. Huge servings for a great price. If you love BBQ, you need to visit Smokin’ Hogan’s.

My husband and I decided to try Smokin Hogans last night, after seeing several ads and posts on Facebook. They are the best BBQ establishment we have ever eaten at. The food was amazing, my husband ordered the smokin sampler meal and I ordered the ribs with hand breaded onion rings, as suggested by our server, we even ordered a pound of the brisket to take home. The service was great, we loved our red haired waitress whom was very amicable. For a newer establishment, they have limited seating, but as stated above you may order their entrees by the pound for carryout. We will definitely be going back.

Was passing through and decided to stop by and give it a try. I got the hoganator! It was very good but almost couldn’t taste the meat. There was way too much nacho sauce smothered in it. Mashed potatoes and gravy was excellent. We also got the brisket sandwich with sweet potato fries. Sandwich was excellent. Fries were good but a little too done. Overall we enjoyed it.

So I gotta say I was so pumped when I ordered this food. i’ve had so many people say good things about this place. So I myself got the 1/2 rack of ribs with the two sides and then corn ribs as an appetizer. One of my sides was the smoked macaroni and cheese . .My husband got the meat samplerWhich was rib, pulled chicken , brisket and pulled pork. In the picture, it shows you at least get three ribs. He got one. The pulled pork was very dry. In the brisket was so peppery I mean it had to be like that by accident. The lid had to fell off or something. I am not usually one to do reviews, but when I am spending that much on food, I at least want over half of it to be good. Maybe some of this was due to the time of day we went, which was at seven at night. I would try it again maybe around lunchtime, but I cannot say the same for my husband. Oh yeah, I know when it comes to my half rack of ribs I got to say those were on point! So maybe if you go with those it’ll be safe

I may just be a fellow mortal, but I am extremely impressed with Hogan’s Tater. What an exemplary display of food science and self admiration. The quality of their food is displayed through the beautiful presentation, and the brisket was perfectly cooked. Lightly smoked, chewy where it counts, and flavorful throughout. Like a mermaid on rock through foggy seas, do not miss this gem beyond the scummy franchises surrounding it.

A mixed review, mostly good! My husband was disappointed in the icelandic cod sandwich. He said it was overcooked, very dry inside, and flavorless. When he inquired about tartar sauce, he was rather nonchalantly told there was none made and no attempt to throw some together quickly was made either. Aside from that, everything was incredibly delicious! He had the smoked meatloaf. It was juicy, great smoky flavor, and amazing! while I had the brisket sandwich, very tender, fall apart, juicy. Very good meats! Their BBQ sauce is very complimentary of both their meatloaf and brisket. We both had the fried okra, which yes, could have used a bit more flavor admittedly. But, throw in a side of their ranch dip/dressing and it makes a huge, tasty difference! Overall, we were satisfied with our very first visit here and will be return customers in future.

I work in Corydon about once a month. As I was browsing through the endless number of chain restaurants that appear in google maps trying to find something for lunch, I came across smokin Hogan’s. I’m all about trying something new. I Ordered my food but was unable to leave work to pick it up. I called to request them to cancel my order because it’s already been an hour since my pick up time. My man offered to drop it off because I was right down the street! They even remade my meal so it’d be fresh. The Food was great but their hospitality and dedication to provide exceptional customer service is out of this world! 5 stars from me! I’ll definitely be coming back

DISAPPOINTED!! I spent $31 and received VERY bland food they could’ve at least added some salt. No “Smokey” flavor at all! Two stars because the portion size was great just lacked flavor.

They had one person taking orders, serving and checking you out. She did an awesome job. She made sure we had Drinks, refills and everything we needed. We had the sampler pork,brisket, chicken and ribs. Sides baked potato and Macaroni and cheese. Delicious!
