Love Urban Wine + Kitchen! We have a great experience each time we go to this gem in downtown Lisle, on Main Street with easy parking. It’s an awesome place to relax with good drinks & food steadily flowing, whether it’s a tasty sandwich or repeated rounds of gourmet style small plates where you stop when full; our favorite! We love the friendly, casual atmosphere that keeps customers happy. Jason seems to handle it all and so smoothly; with plenty of knowledge, attention and smiles. He even saved us from a credit card mishap once when we accidentally left it on our table… with his phone call after we left to alert us. How awesome is that? Five stars all the way. 🙂

Once again, we had a wonderful time with friends at Urban Wine & Kitchen. What a sweet, intimate place for get-togethers. The wine by the glass or bottle is extensive, of course, but the food menu has a very wide selection of possibilities. We’ve occasionally ordered sandwiches or individual pizzas from their pizza oven— in-view behind the bar -but mostly we select hearty appetizer plates to share as a group. Delicious!! Those fired pizzas are quite shareable, too! Jessica was a server this time and was up-beat, knowledgeable and attentive. Thank you, Jessica, for making our meet-up so memorable!

A pleasure to indulge during Lisle Restaurant Week. A lively and unique dining experience in downtown Lisle. Great meatballs, charcuterie board, and margherita pizza. For two people it’s the perfect amount of food. For sure vino vibes only, with six wine flights to choose from and plenty of glass options.

Dropped in to try R. Urban this evening. I have to say that everything was outstanding. They have a great wine selection highlighted by some of Nicole’s suggestions. The wood oven pizza was incredible. In addition to the pizza we tried the egg plant and chicken parm, and the meatballs. Both were excellent. That said, the highlight of the evening was the meat and cheese butcher block. They had some incredible selections. The vibe was cool and chic. The staff was friendly and responsive. I’d recommend this new gem to any and all. Can’t wait to go back.

When we arrived, we were brought 2 bottles of water but no glasses. Waited and waited, finally brought glasses, but it was 94 outside and we had to ask for ice. We had the meatball sandwich and the turkey sandwich. Menu didn’t state what came with them, but we were pleased with a nice salad. A glass of wine was $15, which was more than the sandwich!

Jason and Nichole were fabulous. Staff is very knowledgable and food and wine was delectable. Atmosphere was beautifully decorated to feel comfortable and high end. Over all experience was highly satisfying. Everyone made you feel like a friend stopping by for a glass of wine. Kudos to owners and management for an exceptional experience!

was sat at a table outside by a hostess (who ended up being our server) who evidently told another table that we were going to give up our seat to them. when we did not give up our table, the group left and the server was upset and stated “those women wasted my time and my water”
zero people were inside because the music was so loud and you couldn’t hear anything.
i asked said server if we were to go in to order as my group had been waiting 10 minutes for service. she was rude in her answer and disappeared inside to then come back to take our order.
more short responses with an argumentative tone followed with very slow service. unsure if the server was having a bad day as from what i could tell she was alone.
didn’t tell us about any specials until after we ordered.
our order arrived and our charcuterie board was the saddest thing i have ever paid money for. on top of it looking like something a toddler could’ve put together, the server got our 4 piece order wrong and never told us the items we actually received.
the mushrooms we had tasted old and were soggy.
will never recommend this place to anyone nor will i return.
so disappointed to see a Salerno restaurant be so awful.
