Pulled up to Papa John’s Escondido on Center City Pkwy and Wasim, the manager, really came through. I’ll be real — using EBT can feel embarrassing sometimes, but he made it easy, respectful, and comfortable. Patient, professional, and always smiling — that kind of service is rare.
We grabbed the $29.99 special (two topping pizzas), plus the Canadian bacon & pineapple and Alfredo spinach specialty pies — and yeah, I couldn’t resist the popper bites. Chefs back there did their thing, food came out perfect.
Hours run about 11 AM–10 PM on weekdays, last orders before close. They’re on DoorDash and Uber Eats too, but honestly, if you walk in, you’ll see why the in-person vibe makes all the difference.

It was so good I just have to give a review cuz ppl rarely post good reviews for chain/fast food places but dang. I usually go with dominoes cuz their deals are better but
I was influenced by doughtoli on tiktok hahah and my expectations were exceeded!! was expecting a let down because my last experience was meh and it was late but… this papa John’s did me right!! Worth the higher price this time, just hope it stays consistent. I wish I got my pizza makers name but she was tall and had a charming smile.

Staff saw us waiting at counter for at least two or three minutes without acknowledging our presence. They were just standing by the ovens. We walked out.

I ordered a 2 medium 1 topping pizza, I ordered around 11-12p.m. I totally forgot about my order… MAN THESE WORKERS ARE AMAZING, they offered to make a new one as I work in the plaza and was busy. Friendly, admiring and the best customer service I could get!!!

Ordered delivery and they sent the incorrect wings, with no sauce on them. They would NOT refund just the wings, terrible service to resolve a simple issue. They wanted to just redeliver buffalo sauce for us to put on. After 45mins, so cold wings. Never ordering here again!

Wings are horrible, don’t bother! My last order, everything BAD and short 1 pizza, breadsticks swimming in grease, wings basically inedible. This will probably be my last order for our company. (Door dash delivery) $73 later and waiting to see if they come back with our missing pizza. Customer service was useless.

It was the first and the last time to order from papa John’s pizza the store located at center city parkway Escondido, I paid like over fifty dollars for just two medium and one large cheese, the cheese was very thin and burnt and the other two medium with steak was really bad, it’s not worth even one dollar and I don’t recommend anyone who loves pizza to go to that store.
I would give zero stars to that store.
