Well, it’s a slot bar/Mexican restaurant/BBQ place. The restaurant side is as expected but the bar has slot machines and is very dark.

Beer is a bit expensive, especially considering there is a taproom in the same parking lot which sells good local beer at fair prices.

I’m giving a 1 star on the food because, as an experienced grill and meat connoisseur, I was extremely disappointed by their BBQ. I ordered just a side of the brisket to take home and not only was it not fresh, it was dryer than jerky in the desert. No sauce added or on the side. The worst part is that is was clearly spoiled… I could smell it through the bag. You could actually see the glossy meat fibers of decomposition and smell that metallic rot scent from old meat.

I requested my money back and did not touch it. They refunded me which was nice, but who tries to serve such a thing and expect someone to eat it?

It makes me wonder how the rest of the food quality is maintained. Too bad too as this place is conveniently located for us in the area, but they are missing the mark.

I’d also like to mention that they have a grill just chilling in the restaurant but I’ve never seen it used. I’ve been in the area for over year now, use the grocery store, liquor store, dentist, vet, and even the chiropractor here, but I’ve NEVER seen that grill pulled out and used once which indicates they cook the meat offsight and reheat it at the restaurant.

This food was AMAZING. My husband is a whiz with the smoker at home, but everything we sampled at this place was sooooooo good. We got the sampler plate and street tacos to split. The brisket, pulled pork, smoked chicken thigh, and pork ribs were just amazing. Coleslaw and cornbread on point as well! We got another rack of ribs to split. Friendly staff- the owner came over and chatted with us as well! Highly recommend this restaurant!!!

I very much wanted to really like this place as I enjoy good BBQ. The “Made in Georgia” Rec Tec BBQ with the trademark “horns” out front was a good sign and I anticipated some good Georgia BBQ. My first impression was quickly tempered as it appears they have tucked a BBQ offering alongside a bar attached to their Mexican restaurant.
As to the food, .these folks have some work to do. The BBQ menu is very limited. We tried a beef (brisket) and chicken offering. The brisket had a nice smoke ring and the flavor was good but the meat was very dry. Likewise the chicken was very dry and somewhat bland (no real BBQ/smoky flavor). The sauce provided appears to be a Sweet Baby Ray or similar off the shelf brand – big disappointment as I prefer something with a bit of smoke and zip.
Fries are commercially procured and average with a lot of pieces less than an inch long. The corn bread was more like a muffin and was nothing special. Cole slaw was average.
On a positive note was the tableside prepared guacamole – it was excellent. Our server was extremely pleasant and very welcoming and for him alone, we will try again, maybe with some of the BBQ tacos.

If looking for fall off the bone succulent Baby Backs…this isn’t that spot.
Fatty more than meaty.
Sauce was good but not unique.
Not inexpensive either.

Update….C&D removed the side that came with the brisket sandwich and reduced the amount of brisket by about 50% that came on the sandwich for the same price of $16.99 plus they charge you a credit card fee. Gonna lose me as a customer.

My wife really liked the brisket sandwich. I loved the nachos. 3 cheeses, jalapenos and the delicious brisket cut into 1/2 squares. Friendly and efficient staff.

Love this place. Family owned and staff is super friendly. Had the brisket and it was cooked to perfection. I am a French fry fanatic and these were the best. I don’t prefer cornbread and this cornbread was delicious . My husband had a burrito and it was soooo good. No complaints here.

No idea what their food is like. Walked in and there wasn’t anyone there. I could hear some people were laughing in the back and a few staff walked by the bar looking at me like they didn’t know why I was there. All the menus are for the connected mexican restaurant, and yes I was in the right place. I did find a menu for them finally but it’s about a quarter of what is listed on their old menu here on Google. Considering after 10 minutes and multiple looks I wasn’t helped at all I’m not interested in going back. From what I could see there were just a single table of customers and that was in the restaurant on the other side.

Danny is a fun owner and character. The gentleman who waited on us works weekends there and was also delightful and efficient. Brisket was excellent, as were sides. Highly recommend!
