We are a small, local, coffee and plant shop. We offer all sorts of espresso and coffee drinks with just about any milk or syrup you could think of.
Many of our houseplants are propagated from plants we’ve owned for many years and are very forgiving to give them the best chance of success in your home.
The name comes from our 2 daughters nicknames Shake and Bops!

A small, beautiful, yet stable cafe, with lots of potted plants and quiet, soft music, a place where you won’t get bored no matter how long you stay, a place where your mind is at peace, a place with the gentle taste and aroma of coffee.

It’s a wonderful little plant cafe! The service was excellent, and the vibe was incredibly relaxing! I loved all of the plants, and they are all for sale! I ended up taking home a jungle velvet plant. They know the species of all the plants, so you can easily look up if they are safe for your pets. I highly recommend visiting for a break during a busy day, or with friends. I plan to return and bring my friends with me.

The atmosphere is exquisite. Botanical verdancy, set amongst dark walnut-tones and comfortable seating. Kind, intelligent personnel staffing behind the counter. Gluten -free baked goods and non-gluten free food, too. 10/10 recommendation.

I visited for the very first time today, and Shakes and Bops is lovely. The place is small, cozy, and intimate filled with plants and art galore (some of each were for sale!) The gentleman working was kind, and helped me pick out a hot tea, and when it was ready he even brought it to my table. I haven’t tried anything other than the tea yet, but I’ve already sent these photos to a girlfriend to plan a coffee date because of how cozy and relaxing the vibe is. Also the plants seem really healthy, which is FAR from an easy thing to accomplish
I work nearby, and guarantee I’ll be back !

We were passing through on our way to Pennsylvania, and stopped in for coffee. We had such a lovely experience talking to the co-owner! The coffee was delicious and the shop is beautiful with all of the plants. We hope to be back someday! We would 100% recommend this shop (and we’re both a bit of a coffee snob!)

Adorable coffee shop. Love the plants all around. The eclectic coffee mugs were perfection. Staff was very friendly and helpful. You can park in town parking garage and there’s a perfect cut thru sidewalk that leads you right in front of the shop. Would recommend. They even heated our muffins up for us.

We stopped in this little place after some google maps exploration – what a little hidden gem!
Lots of sugar free syrup options and GOOD coffee 😀 and the plant game is amazing – very jealous of the six feet fiddle leaf plants!
Also the barista was super understanding and made my husband’s affogato quickly when his blood sugar was dropping low. We appreciate you!! Thank you!!
