Uber Eats this food and it was TERRIBLE the sesame chicken was nasty and old, the hibachi chicken had an old flavor please don’t waste money here!

First time visiting this Hibachi 88, and it is by far my preferred location to the Durham locations. The amount of food you get for the price is great (I paid $20 total for me and my mom), and the food was hot and fresh. I got the hibachi steak, and my mom got the Hibachi 88 rice. Did not take a long time to receive our food, and the cashier was nice.

This is my go-to comfort food after a hard day at work. Chicken hibachi noodles with extra broccoli for just $14.13 after tax, which I usually get 2 meals out of (1 meal if I’m HONGRY). The staff are always friendly, sweet, quick, and helpful. They’ve never asked for tips, and there’s not a tip field on the receipt, which makes me want to tip them more in the jar, lol. Their food is SO GOOD, I have to close my eyes when I take a bite to savor it. Wonderful place and staff. Thank you for being my comfort place after my tiring days.

The food is good but the big girl at the front has horrible customer service. She’s rude and when you walk in if you say hello she acts like you’re not even standing there. Literally didn’t say a word and continued to type in the computer. And I greeted her first and she still didn’t say anything. She didn’t ask me if she could help me until she felt like it. Just plain RUDE! I’m in customer service and if you’re busy you simply say I’ll be right with you and you absolutely greet your customers bc they are keeping the lights on. You don’t let your customer stand in front of you while you ignore them like they’re not even there. She needs a new job!

I have to say I’m disappointed and disgusted. I wasn’t going to leave a review but I’ve been sick ever since yesterday when I found a short straight piece of black hair and a dead fly in my food. I am so sick on my stomach. I want to go to the hospital. I should’ve took a picture but I threw the whole food box away. No I don’t want a replacement. I’m NEVER coming back.
