Peculiarity
The baristas were very friendly! The two girls working were patient, kind, and professional. I ordered a matcha latte with honey and the vegan blueberry coffee cake muffin. The matcha was pretty average (still enjoyable), but the muffin was absolutely superb! Absolutely delicious and the perfect breakfast item!

One of my favorite coffee shops in Waukesha! The atmosphere is so bright and cozy! I typically get an iced latte and the espresso shots are always well balanced and smooth, never bitter. I also love the story behind the name and why the owner chose it. Whether I’m grabbing my drink to go or staying for a bit, I always leave happier than when I came in. Highly recommend!

Copilot recent changed locations in downtown Waukesha. This is a small place, now located on an angular corner. To me the new space feels both more intimate, but very bright, probably due to the almost wrap-around windows. The staff was friendly, but a little low on the energy scale.
Ordered a London Fog and a Coffee Cake Muffin. Asked for drink in a mug, but they missed that part and I got it in a paper cup. Also, the muffin got way over-nuked in the microwave, and was mess from all the melted brown sugar. Not an overall great experience.
A little disappointed in the lack the other bakery items. All they had was muffins. No scones, coffees or bars. And the service was kind of mediocre. Several other coffee choices in the areas, so not likely to come back here.

First time here since they changed ownership. There are numerous other coffee shops in this area, so it’s an effort if any one of them wants to stand out.
It wasn’t too busy, so we were able to order right away. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We ordered a couple of beverages and food items. The London Fog Latte was done exactly as I like it, with lavender, vanilla and extra foam. The Yogurt Parfait was a good portion with fresh fruit. I like the fact that you used plain yogurt and then get to add sweet toppings. The GF Muffin was good, but not great. A little too dense for me, but I also realize that it’s a challenge with regular flour.
Lots of places to sit, both in the front and rear areas. Lots of table space and nice for study groups. It’s spacious, but not as coffee shop comfy as I prefer.
Nice, but would not be my first choice for a Downtown Waukesha Coffee Shop.

I absolutely adore this place. The owner is so kind and they can make any of their latte flavors a chai version instead! I haven’t had any of their food but it all looks great. Such a great addition to the heart of Waukesha. Love how much they listen to their customers – they are even open later for Friday Nights Live in the summer.

My boyfriend and I come here pretty much weekly and their coffee is always the best in the area. I’m a coffee snob and their espresso is very high quality, I like that their lattes are more espresso forward, and I appreciate the fun monthly specials that are always coordinated with the seasons. We have had great experiences every time, and the one time we did experience a wait on our food when a large crowd came in, we got refunded without asking. Thank you copilot for being great every time!

BEST iced vanilla latte I’ve had in ages!! Chocolate chip coffee cake muffin was so good, and they had lots of vegan/gf bakery items in the case too. My husband got the breakfast bagel and was so glad that it seemed to be the same as the Mountain Top one he loved. I got the chicken wrap with honey mustard and that was good too.
Cute space, friendly staff, easy parking, and a great outdoor space for warm weather – can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely phenomenal! Not only is the atmosphere really relaxing and cute but the pastries are so fresh and tasty. I also appreciate vegan options like the vegan chocolate chunk cookie. You can tell they really care about their customers here which is so refreshing. I’m from out of town but next time I’m back in the Waukesha area I’m definitely coming back and you get more

I honestly accidentally ended up here on a Sunday morning , a different place I thought was open downtown wasn’t, but then I saw this coffee shop up ahead (had no idea it was here) I stopped in and the male staff was welcoming when I went in. I had questions about their coffee and what was in the breakfast bowl. He was very kind and answered all my questions for me. I normally don’t dine in but thought I’d enjoy the moment. I sat down, enjoyed my coffee and breakfast bowl and fruit, smaller portions but very good! I’m very picky with my coffee and I drank it all and loved it! I will definitely be back! So glad I found this place
