Great cafe, tucked inside a courtyard. Worth the uncertainty of how to get in. Food selection more than I expected. The food quality was excellent and servings substantial. Self service drinks, food on plastic plates/ trays and picked up when your order called. Clean and casual. The other nearby stores gave the cafe an airy, artsy feel. Check it out!

Grilled cheese sandwich was terribly salty, and they didn’t have decent black tea, or brown sugar, or honey, or even proper cups. They didn’t tell me I could have a choice of whole wheat bread. In fact, the young lady taking the order was not welcoming.

I used to frequent this business years ago when it was Cook’s Cafe. I recently visited DeLand after being aware for a rather long time and I was happy to see Connie’s had taken it over. The food was still great! I will be back again the next time I’m in the area!

Very good food at an affordable price. I work in Downtown DeLand and visit once or twice a week. Love the Turkey Reuben and the buffalo chicken pita. Yum! The fish sandwich is great as well. Counter service-so you order and then go to window to pick it up. Always quick and efficient.

It was a good place for a quick bite to eat. Staff was friendly. I got a roast beef club with a side of their velvet soup. Have to say it is something I have never had before. The broth for the soup was thicker than a chowder. It was good.
