Wow! What a treat for a gluten-free traveler! I live 2 hours away, but would consider a weekend trip just so I could eat here again! The Nashville Chicken sandwich was amazing. It’s not often you can find gluten-free fried chicken, and this dish exceeded my expectations! The sweet potato tots were also delicious. I don’t know how they made something simple taste outstanding, but they nailed it! Amazing place. Don’t miss it!

First time being here in Virginia and in Richmond. First time experience at this wonderful establishment. Owner Chris and bartender were very friendly and are attentive to everyone coming in. Self seating, homemade sauces, fresh ingredients and all cooked to perfection. Such a shame it’sa five hour drive for me from home. I look forward to visiting again!!!! Highly recommended.

Great atmosphere and huge portions for appetizers! We went for lunch and only got appetizers! Really good flavors of food and accommodating staff. Limited parking.

Driving from northern Virginia to Williamsburg and we wanted something better than the usual interstate exit chains. Wow, Toast did not disappoint! Shrimp and crab nachos were exceptional. Also enjoyed the “Cuban Reuben” sandwich…homemade pastrami with Virginia ham and pulled pork. Large portions and reasonable prices.

Clean, unpretentious, and honest food made from scratch and served by an engaging cast of characters posing as staff. I’ve eaten more than half of the items offered on the menu and have always been pleased because they put a lot of effort and hard work into their creations and you can taste it.

First time here at Toast. I ordered a smoked old fashioned, a whiskey sour, and their chicken ciabatta sandwich with sweet potato tots. The drinks were well made and the food was good. Olivia was my server and she was great. I’ll definitely stop back through

I stumbled on this place looking for something different for a business lunch. We decided to try it from the reviews. Parking was not easy but it was well worth it. The food was AMAZING with large portions and great flavor. We tried the she crab soup first. I dont think I have ever had she crab soup that good in the Richmond area! It had a lot of meat in it and was more like what I expect in Maryland, than Virginia. I got the Cuban Rueben and my associate got the Pesto Chicken Ciabatta sandwich. They were both Outstanding! The Cuban Rueben is a creative sandwich loaded with corned beef, ham and pulled pork, with slaw instead of saurkraut and is my new favorite sandwich! Our server was only on her second shift ever there and was very nice and attentive. I wish I had got her name. The manager/owner is floating around checking things and I get the impression that he knows exactly everything that is happening in the place from food prep to customer satisfaction. This joint needs more parking, but my buddy and I intend on working our way through the menu and a really hope managment sees this and starts selling that crab soup by the qt!!! I don’t go into Richmond often, but this place will be one of the reasons!

Really friendly staff and great atmosphere! My husband and I split two entrees and the kitchen split them in half on two separate plates!!! So considerate!!

My husband enjoyed the chicken ciabatta and I enjoyed the truffle burger.
