I work just down the street from here, and I saw in a local newspaper that Benny’s just opened this location. I saw that they had a MASSIVE 28 inch pizza and I was very curious about it. I ordered it and went and picked it up. Myself and all of our staff working that day thought it was absolutely wonderful.
The pizza, again, was absolutely massive in size. It’s cut into 8 slices, and a single slice is so large that a single slice (or especially 2) are a meal on its own. The pizza was around $44 with pepperoni if I remember correctly. (It’s about $38 I believe if someone orders only a cheese pizza). But it’s enough to reliably feed 4-6 adults depending on how hungry they are, so it’s a very fair deal in my opinion. Beyond the sheer size, the pizza also tastes very good and they do not skimp you in other ways that you think as a business they might. The pizza is actually fairly thick, and it actually is great tasting pizza, so you truly get your money’s worth. It was comically hilarious and an utter, complete joy to slap a single slice of pizza into the microwave as left overs and watch the extremely large slice of pizza spin around the microwave as it’s literally hitting the inside walls of the microwave. It’s a childhood dream come true and it’s completely reasonably priced.

The pizza was chessy and delicious. The dough and crust was airy and not burnt.
We didn’t know or expect the pizza to big so big. It was a pleasant surprise for us. Awesome we definitely were big backing to finish this.

So very sad to see Benny’s On the Ocean close. We really loved the pizza at Benny’s. You should be pretty hungry if you order a slice here. It’s impressive in so many ways. Have a group to feed, order the big pie.

Awesome staff! The slices are huge! Cheese slice $5 pepperoni or sausage $6. Ranch cup .50 and garlic sauce cup.50. Drinks $2-$3 Gatorade and other assorted bottled sodas and tea. Giant 28″ pizza.

This Benny’s is also fantastic! My second one and the atmosphere is fantastic. The employees love being here and they are incredibly friendly. Benny’s may be prevalent but it truly feels like a local experience, with their own personality and amazing food this is a pizza location you have to try.

Novelty pizza that is very large per slice. They only sell the one giant size which is plenty of food to fill you or the family up. I live alone, so I had leftovers for a couple days afterwards. You can also choose to get pizza by the slice here. Service and atmosphere is nice, just a stones throw away from the oceanfront. With that said, the pizza itself tasted average at best.

LARGE slices (2 fill up a large pizza box) and quite tasty. No gluten free options, sorry celiacs. Great price, though my boyfriend thought the crust was a little too thin for his tastes. He did say the flavor of the garlic mushroom was really good.

This place deserves 6 stars! We were in town visiting and it was some of the best pizza we’ve ever had (in any city). It is HUGE and a great value for families (we fed 6 adults and one child with one pizza).
