I was at the mall and felt like having Indian food, even though there were plenty of other restaurants available. It had been a while since I last had Indian food, and I was really looking forward to something authentic, flavorful, and served in decent portions. Unfortunately, both the butter chicken and curry chicken were watery and lacked flavor, and the portions were small especially disappointing considering I spent around $20, including tip and a soda.

I had the best dinner ever. This food is a 10 out of 10 and is staff there was so friendly and so helpful. Definitely will be coming back for more. The coffee I’ve never had before and let me tell you, I will always have this coffee when I come back. Thank you to the staff.

I’m giving two stars because the food looked and smelled delicious. However, I was literally the only person in line and I was asking questions about the ingredients because I didn’t want anything too spicy. Well, the young lady was busy on her phone and barely answered my question, and then the guy acted like I was bothering him too. So, they seemed to not care, and since there’s literally 10 other eateries to choose from I said no thank you. Bye!!! Today is Dec 1, 2025 at around 1:00 pm.

The food was so bad it would not even go in my mouth. The paneer was watery and it tasted like it was expired. Don’t go here. Wasted $15. I asked him to remake it and it still tasted bad.

The Indian Plate at Menlo Park Mall is not too shabby for Indian food in a food court. I can’t tolerate spice, however I know having the Chicken Tikki Masala is more flavorful than spicy. It’s not food I’m used to but having it with rice to coat the hot feeling in my mouth I can try sometimes too. I also love basmati rice with the spices to make it flavorful.

We have been here twice. Each time I have gotten the Chicken combo platter. I get Chicken Tikki Masala, Basmati rice, and chickpeas. The portions get filled up in the box. I don’t like having sauce coated on the basmati rice and will tell the server to have it away from it when it gets poured.

Hot and has a kick to my taste buds, I like this combination and gets very filling. Gobi 65 are cauliflower bites. It can be in your combination platter or a side dish.

Service is friendly. You pay before you get your takeout order. All payments are acceptable, plenty of open seats in the mall.

It is entirely beyond me how such a great place has such low reviews. I live 30 minutes away from this mall, and I’m considering returning just to eat at The Indian Plate. The prices are the most shocking part. Only $8 and some change for a butter chicken roll? And their plate options aren’t expensive either! That’s a steal in this day and age. They’re doing God’s work with these prices.

I wanted to hold off on my review until I actually ate the food. It’s REALLY good. I have ate at many Indian restaurants because I love their cuisine. The flavor of the butter chicken roll I ordered is super authentic. Hearty, spicy, flavorful.

This is all and all a fantastic place. The cashiers wasn’t the most cheerful, but he got the job done and did it well. I genuinely cannot wait to come back here.

For food this quality, they could get away with selling their rolls foe $12-13, but they keep it at a low price and I respect them for that

Atlast an Indian restaurant in Menlo Park mall. It’s kind of like mall food but not bad . Priced ok .. and decent options for food . Service is good . Quick food preparation.. taste is not like other authentic restaurants in Edison , but not bad for a mall. Overall a good experience.. thumbs up

I just ordered the one entree combo where I got spicy chicken wings with rice because I didn’t want the spicy chicken wing combo because I did not want the fries or drink.
Well guess what the wing combo is six wings, fries and a drink. I got two wings and rice. Why not give me three wings with the rice? Never again will I order from here

Incredibly bad “Indian” food. I can’t believe some people are saying this is good. If you have any standard for Indian food, avoid the food here. The server girl was nice though.
