BEST DINING EXPERIENCE IN PENNSYLVANIA! Food was SCRUMPTIOUS, service was beyond amazing. Noelle the server is gifted at making you feel like a member of the family. She really elevated our experience and made it even more special. From the delicious sun-dried tomatoes and freshly made bread to the warm chocolate chip muffins at the end of the meal, we were just delighted. As an adventurous eater, having options like wild boar and elk was exciting — and the quality of the meat completely surpassed expectations. The restaurant was beautiful inside and had a classy atmosphere. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Such a great dining experience at Latitude 48! The vibe is cozy but upscale, and everything we tried was so good. You can really tell Executive Chef Dan Robinson and Sous Chef Devin Conklin put their heart into the food — every dish looked amazing and tasted even better. Our server Noelle went above and beyond! Definitely worth the trip if you’re in or around Washington County.

This is by FAR one of the best restaurants I have EVER been to. I truly have nothing but goods thing to say about this place, the people, and the FOOD. The food is truly 10/10 every time, and they are very quick to cater to any meal or dietary needs/preferences one might have. The prices are very fair for the quality and craftsmanship, and you will never leave hungry or dissatisfied. Whether it’s just a place to spend a special occasion or somewhere you want to go regularly, I can’t recommend it enough. Reservation is recommended especially for the weekend, but otherwise I would say it’s fairly easy to be a walk-in typically if your party is 4 or less.

WONDERFUL dining experience at this fine establishment! The food and drinks were top notch and we had the kindest servers ever. The chef came and met us after we ate and it was great to talk to him and learn about his culinary background. We will be back!

Latitude 48 is truly a hidden gem. The atmosphere is small and cozy, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy an elevated dining experience without having to leave the neighborhood. Since it’s the only restaurant in the area, it feels even more special—and they’ve set the bar incredibly high.
The food was absolutely exceptional—beautifully plated, fresh, and full of flavor. Every dish felt thoughtfully crafted, and you can tell the chef takes pride in both quality and creativity.
The service matched the food perfectly. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and made the whole dining experience feel special. It’s rare to find a restaurant that delivers such a refined experience while still keeping the charm of a small, local place.
Whether you’re looking for a casual night out or a special occasion, it’s the kind of restaurant you’ll want to come back to again and again.

We stumbled upon this place and had no idea what to expect… It is a beautiful restaurant with a great vibe. We shared a few different plates (they even split our main dish for us). Everything was DELICIOUS and was plated so nicely! The drinks were perfect too.
Also, the server was friendly and helpful. Our youngest daughter was with us and they were welcoming and made her butter noodles.
It is expensive but the quality of food and service makes it well worth it. We told our friends about it and can’t wait to go back!

The restaurant has an upscale vibe, very tastefully designed but with a comfortable laid back atmosphere. They recently reopened with a new chef and team and it looks very promising.
Portions were generous compared to similar upscale places we’ve been to in the Pittsburgh metro area, and we found the quality of ingredients to be top notch, so value for price was good.
Salads were very fresh and paired with dressings that complemented well and did not overpower. The charcuterie plate was quite large, it could be shared with 3-4 or 2 very hungry people and had a good variety. The lemon sorbet palette cleanser was surprisingly good, was smooth and creamy like ice cream.
The Wagyu ribeye was sublime, like butter. The chef seared and lightly seasoned it which was all it needed. Came with Japanese black rice and edamame. The crab cakes were gluten free – virtually all colossal crab meat. Tasted of pure crab and sea was delicious. Served with a mildly spicy capers tartar-like sauce, white wine risotto and seared romanesco broccoli.
Alex the chef and Lisa our waitress were super friendly and knowledgeable. Overall, very impressed we will definitely return. We felt that the theme of this place was to let the high quality sourced ingredients shine without making it overly complicated or fussy.

Latitude 48 is one of our favorites. A little off the beaten path but worth the drive. We love the menu as it showcases new and unique things, some of which you typically don’t even see. Food is always great. They have small dish plates and entrees. Always satisfied eating here!

There is a big difference between game and pork, especially large game. Serving pork ossobucco instead of the “red stag shank” is crazy. Like serving beef in the place of bison, an atrocity. Places like this prey on ignorance. Charging you double for a sorry cut of “high profile meat” . Instead you are getting your average grocery store cut. Furthermore, the website for the advertised red stag shank brand doesn’t offer red stag at all.
