Reviews
If you’re looking for tasty pizza, at a reasonable price, Rotolo’s has you covered.
Vibe & Atmosphere
Open-air environment that was quiet enough for conversation.
Food
* Angry Pig Pizza – when served, the pizza was still scalding hot. I ate a piece at the restaurant and took the rest as carry-out. The drive home gave the pizza time to cool. Each piece was loaded with sausage and fresh jalapenos. The taste was exactly what I wanted.
Service
I did not notice a welcoming greeting, upon entering the restaurant. My waitress seemed new and naive to the offerings. I didn’t receive any follow-up service, until I raised my hand to get her attention. I was disappointed that my waitress didn’t offer to box up my pizza, as other chains have done.
Price & Value
The price was reasonable, though the lacking service diminished the value.
Final Verdict
The Weatherford location is relatively new and has a few hurdles to overcome. The pizza is tasty, as long as one’s mouth is made of steel, or the patron is willing to wait half an hour for it to cool.
The menu features more than just pizza, but for first time visit, of course I had to try the pizza cooked at 600° and their Italian Stone Deck Oven. I got the Vin Monster, and I can vouch that it was fantastic. Two large slices for lunch, the other four large slices I’m going to freeze for two additional meals.
Additionally, have their own App for reward points. I’m all about getting free things! Such great options for eating out, and so close to home!
The pizza was fantastic, and I love that the remodel of this location as it has a comfortable bar area with really comfortable barstools. Brett & Tiffany were my servers at the bar today, and they will be great.
My longtime favorite Parker County bartender and server, Sheri, is meeting with ownership in a day or two about possibly joining the team. I would love that, as I know all of Sheri‘s other followers will as well as. I will definitely be back.
At check in, the staff were extremely overwhelmed. Initial impression was pure chaos.
Once seated, we waited 20 minutes and no one came to our table so I asked a waitress walking by for waters. Then, our waitress came by saying she had no idea we were seated there, despite walking by us a few times.
We immediately put in our order for wings, side salad and The Tony pizza. Generally a side salad and wings would come out as appetizers, but came out 40 minutes later with our pizza. I can only imagine what the wait time would be if you order the Chicago style pizza that requires a longer cooking time. And please note… the restaurant was not packed. Open tables everywhere.
The ranch wasn’t homemade. The side salad was lackluster. The wings were served in a bowl with oil sitting at the bottom (see picture), and the pizza looked great but was flavorless.
The atmosphere has potential but it’s a little meh.
Overall, wouldn’t recommend. Plenty of other much better pizza spots in town to support.
For dessert was the bread pudding bites absolutely perfect. Thank you Taylor
