I called in her while in Berlin, was greeted by a lovely smile and shown to my table, I ordered the ribeye mastercut which came with a jacket potato and garlic bread and a side salad. I then had the lovely soufflé for dessert. Reasonably priced, great flavour and service.

I love Germany very much, und Berlin in particular this city is incredibly dear and precious to me.
This time, I invited my friends to visit me in Berlin, and honestly, I was a bit nervous because I really wanted everything to go perfectly for them
But my worries were completely unnecessary.
We had an amazing experience at Block House! The service was truly exceptional. We were served by a German lady with glasses, so unfortunately, I forgot her name, but she was incredibly polite, genuinely cultured, and full of energy
Ja, she welcomed us so warmly n made sure everything was perfect from start to finish
The food was absolutely delicious, the restaurant was spotless, and the atmosphere was cozy and family-friendly.
To top it all off, they even gave a small toy gift to our child – such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture that made our visit feel even more special.
We were genuinely impressed and deeply touched by the entire experience.
We’ll definitely be coming back again.

İ think location is good near the island museum app. 4 min walk.
I recommend american tenderloin and mr. Rumpsteak flavour is great and served with baked potato and garlic bread , potato is great bread is also great but i would love to see more crispy bread. Steaks are good however my perspective salmon is medium not special.

First time ordering the salmon and it was cooked perfectly. The potato gratin was also a nice change from the usually amazing baked potato and sour cream. My friends loved their steaks as well. Our waiter was also a breath of fresh air. Always a good experience at block house

So this is a long overdue review.
I love Block House. We have been there like 5 times in the last 2 years and everytime despite the occasion you find the exact same level of quality with a warm even joyful delivery that is just not what your generally see in Germany. It is like stepping into another world.
Whoever is running the show understands what service means, staff is capable and well trained. Food is fresh and delicious. Place is clean and cosy. Kids have a good menu. Portions are adequate price is on the high end but feels fair. Everything from appetaisers to desserts is well thought out nothing is ever rushed.
Very much on my favorite list.

My third visit I usually only visit in September post marathon. Great atmosphere usually! We were there for 1st of May. It was bloody baking outside. It was much quieter than usual. Service was attentive and friendly. Prices have gone up. Still a good choice if you fancy a mid priced steak.
