We went to saffron in the evening to take the advantage of their banquet dinner four courses everything was good as a bonus you are allowed to bring your own alcoholic drinks as they don’t have a licence again it is not our first visit and it won’t be our last made very welcome

Friendly staff who seem eager to please, decent portions and good quality meat. Find the flavours a lot more authentic than when it was the Tulip Tandoori before!

If unsure, give it a try on one of their banquet evenings / nights, where you get starter, main, side, rice or naan for a very reasonable fixed price!

Haven’t tried takeaway so can’t comment on that but I assume the quality is the same as eat-in which is very good.

Note – I don’t drink alcohol any more so can’t comment on that, not sure if they have an alcohol license? Would be worth checking in advance if you do.

I’ve just had a garlic chilli chicken, with a tarka dhal, bombay aloo, pilau rice and a garlic naan. Not all of it is in the photo 🙂

third time coming here in as many weeks. absolutely perfect food, lovely hosts who are very accommodating with the menu. friendly and cheerful staff and a great atmosphere. definitely recommend it to anyone looking at restaurants in Spalding.

(We had ours delivered) Everything was perfect, accept we had no salad with our baji which I expect from kebab shop but not from a restaurant! That’s the only reason I’m giving 4 stars not 5 ,apart from that it was amazing we also had prawn korma ,gosth ka salan, king prawn jalfrezi, tarka dahl, egg fried rice, keema nan and stuffed vegetable paratha , the 2 breads weren’t on the menu but they still do them and they were lovely ,also we were a bit shocked that they did not want to give free popadoms considering we spent £59 they said they would only do it the once , most indian restaurants I have used have no problem giving them for free when you spend that amount, but we are really looking forward to using again and will update star rating if I get salad with my baji starter next time and popadoms free when we spend a fortune.

Well, well,well…it was the first time we have orederd there and guess what, it came utterly as a surprice, and a positive one! We have eaten Indian food before just to name Maharanis or Namaste Mumbai, and some others we have ordered from, but Saffron is a next level for sure. The food have never taste soo good and I guess authentic. Despite being a bit late there is nothing that would impact ny rating. Been delivered hot and the flavours are still floating in the dining room 😀 I hope you’ll have similar thoughts and feelings.

The food from here has always been good, however the delivery times have been quite poor. We placed our first order and had to chase over an hour later. Eventually the food turned up and it was good.

We thought this may be a one off so had ordered again, but unfortunately over an hour and half later to prepare and deliver the meal is quite poor.

Again can’t fault the food quality but not worth the over hours wait each time
